They do a great job but as the attached picture shows-----They are old enough to be a resident. They can't accept tips but make $16.50 per hour plus benefits.
Does that gentleman know you are posting his photo on the internet? He might not appreciate you sharing.
Well,Technically Bill has no reasonable expectation of privacy while in a public setting. That being said you could be eating your phone if you photograph the wrong person.
I am always careful of who I photogaph. All the Care Givers, Servers, staff etc. are very accustomed to being photographed.
I see a few photos on another forum , taken of people whom I’m sure are unaware their photos are being taken and posted on a public forum ..TBH it makes me cringe. I’ve given that place the flick anyway I would personally wait till no ones in the way so to speak before taking a photo of any tourist sites / beaches / indoor areas I’ve no idea what the laws are regarding posting photos of complete strangers who can be recognised in photos on the net
Well, sometimes, people can not be actually asked if they will give approval to be in a photo. Depending on where the photo is taken, people will be in it. Just can't avoid it.
My Assisted Living Facility is on Facebook and has it's own web site. There are many pictures on Facebook taken by guests, residents and staff who happen to belong to Facebook. Getting a picture taken or taking one is no big deal in this day and age and hardly a cause for litigation.
Yes, it's a shame that people believe they can violate someone else's right to personal privacy, then find ways to justify their lack of good manners.
This really is not a public setting. It is a private home in which people live and do have a right to privacy. Residents rights are posted in several places and I'd consider this a violation of my privacy. Where I live, we must sign waivers if a picture with our likeness is to be taken and displayed anywhere. NJ has laws governing this.
