Tonights Dinner At The Old Folks Home Assisted Living

Here is the Chicken Salad lunch I just finished

 

It was Bar B Q Tri Tip with Roasted Corn and Garlic Mashed Potatos

 

We fixed burritos with brisket inside, small pizza squares to munch on, home made limeade to drink. Then a dip of ice cream. All we could come up with.

 

Looks might good, Lon, but as always...........absolutely don't forget that wine!

BTW, Lon, how are you doing since your #2 Covid 19 vaccine? Any side-affects, other than the usual. That is, if you had the "usual" from #1.

Dinner is three hours away and I will post a picture when dinner is served.

 

Dinner was Deelicious as usual.

 

Unimaginative presentation. I liked your old crew a lot better. Their platings looked professional and delicious.

 

Looks great, but I just can't do salmon. (As a child, my mother made us salmon patties from canned salmon...)

 

Funny thing is, Lon, most of us can't even afford the kind of meals you eat there. This place must be a pretty "upper-class" type Assisted Living. Then again, I don't know how other Assisted Living places are.........types of dinners they have or their accommodations.

Question is, just how did you find this place to live?

 

It sure tasted good though. All meals are super but not picture perfect.
