My bed linens are washed and changed weekly here at Assisted Linen and prior to our lockdown and employee
changes during COVID 19 I was quite happy with the way my bed was made up. New care takers have been hired and need a little bed making practice. I want my sheets on smooth and tight and the same with the pillow cases and bed spread. My bed will be made up during the day sometime before I go to bed.

Yes, I'm very particular about sheets and pillowcase being tight-fitting, clean and smooth. I make up the bed as soon as I get up each morning because I can't stand an unmade bed.

Do the fastest I can here just today washing all, this is not one of my main things in life, I do about a 75% job daily but do keep all washed very regular.

I am not at all fussy about how the bed is made, but my wife is, and I'm not crazy about it. She tucks the sheets in so tightly at the bottom that I can't pull them up far enough to cover my chest. While I was single, I rarely used a form-fitting bottom sheet. Instead, I used a regular sheet as the bottom sheet and generally didn't use a top sheet except when I was using it as a blanket. Living in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, there were many nights when blankets were not desirable, but I still liked to be covered. I am picky about them being washed regularly, though. When I was single, I changed them daily; but then, I used hospital sheets so the hospital was doing my laundry for me. I still like sheets to be changed at least every couple of days and if my wife wasn't so picky about how the bed was made, I'd probably change them daily.

I was taught to make bed military style. I do still for tightness effect- but we discovered years ago tucking in the sheet at foot of bed- cramped up our feet. Makes them hurt. So I don't tuck in the foot of bed.
I only change once a week now.

The only time our bed is perfect is twice a week when we change sheets. Most often last one up just smoths the covering over and good enough!

"You will change your Bed Sheets every Friday."

Bottom Sheet goes to the laundry.
Top Sheet goes on the bottom.
    Fresh Sheet goes on top.

"Anyone not changing his sheet spends a night in the Box."

Any of you guys ever bounce a coin off a bed? Me either, not even in the army, despite what the sergeants expected. In fact, I've never even see anyone try it.

I like a well made bed ,Hubby has made our bed for years because I simply can’t lift the heavy mattress to tuck the top sheet in .
I help by smoothing out the bottom sheet and he will often say would you like me to get the iron for you :)
However I made the sheets including the fitted one so it fits nice and tight , they are made with good quality Actil fabric that was made in Australia years ago ( in Adelaide) if you had or could afford Actil sheets you were considered wealthy .

I have very old white Actil pillow cases I use as a pillow protectors that would be 50+ years old and don’t look like wearing out :)

I’m also very fussy about airing pillows ,when I wash sheets I will put our pillows out on the back verandah on a clothes airer .
I like to put the quilt out on the line under the verandah from time to time as well

Yes, and I recently found a solution to changing sheets on my adjustable bed without so much back-straining work. I bought the new zip-on bottom sheet system. That fitted bottom sheet that had to be pulled back in place daily, is history for me. Now changing sheets is easy. Zip-off the bottom one and zip on a clean one. Now daily bed-making is almost fun. Just pull up the top sheet and blanket and pull up the bedspread. Perfect look every time and meets my OCD requirements. No more fussing and getting my undies in a painful twist trying to fold that dad blamed fitted sheet. The zip sheet is square and even a kindergarten kid can fold it nicely. Expensive but eliminates stress and stress is unhealthy. My bed-making vocabulary has become more sanitary.
