But, why did you pick this place? We all know the food looks good and the dining room is very nice looking, but what else?
There are at least six quality places in my town that offer the same kind of service at the same price. I picked where I am because it's within 15 minutes of where my daughter and grand children live. I visited where I live and took a tour of the facility before signing up. Finally, Between my income and insurance I knew what I could afford.
Not to go off topic, but, is this place allowing you to have visitors now? When was the last time you seen your daughter and grand children? I mean, you and the other residents have had both of your Covid 19 vaccines now.
We are doing a late lunch / early supper of Mexican Food here making up for snowed in Valentines Day, looking good just thinking about it. It will be so much easier with my friend's wheel chair without all the snow today other than it still will bite me folding it up as it does about every time. that thing has a hateful mind of it's own.
Yes --We can now have visitors for visits and meals as long as they come wearing masks and practice safe distancing. My daughter is coming for dinner tonight.
Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin Stuffed With Figs and served with Blue Cheese and Mashed Potatos. The Wine is a 19 78 Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon.
Wife and I visited a Winery in Temecula, CA one time when we lived in So. California. I just thank God she likes Bud Light much more than wine. Wine just wasn't a part of our lifestyle and generally isn't in the farming/ranching/rodeo community.
Well, we sure don't eat nearly as good as you do. But, then again, wine doesn't go with hotdogs, hamburgers, fish sandwich, pizza and a number of other foods.
You are totally wrong. Burgundy wine is super with Pizza. hot dogs, hamburgers. Chardonnay goes well with a fish sandwich.
And, so does Bud Light! And, with Mexican food, a good stout margarita is very, very nice. At Mimi's Cafe, we always order one Bloody Mary for breakfast. We even have Bloody Mary Mix and Vodka at home for me to make. Anyway, right or wrong, we aren't wine drinkers. Definitely not like you are. There again, of which you, most likely, don't know much to anything about, farmers, ranchers and rodeo people don't sit around holding/drinking a glass of wine. I've been around enough of both to know this. Actually, Lon, before I met my wife, I would have never dated a gal that drank wine. Really. There were certain characteristics that I looked for in a lady and drinking a glass of wine was definitely not one of them. We do have a glass of wine, cheaper wine that is, sometimes, but it is very, very rare.
You really don't know people as well as you think you do Cody. I love beer and prefer Michelob but not with a meal. I would have never dated or married a woman that drinks CHEAP SWEET WINE like most WINOS prefer. I know farmers, ranchers and country people quite well and have many as close friends. Many of them are regular wine drinkers.
