Salisbury steak with tomato gravy, mashed potatoes, fresh asparagus. (I love when asparagus hits the stores in springtime.) I think I'll make a banana pudding for my better half.
I get asparagus year round. It's likely from Argentina. I won't eat it any way other than steamed or roasted...no canned or frozen shall pass my lips. **blech**
We can get it year round, too. It just tastes best in the springtime to me. I agree on canned or frozen... gack.
Veggies with Adoule sausage amd lots of garlic and spices...with french bread toasted and had a glass of wine. May look dry but trust me it was not..olive oil. Oh lordy that was tasty
I'm not feeling very well today, so I told my husband I'd just make myself a Marie Callender's pot pie instead of carryout. He decided that sounded pretty good, so I've got two chicken pot pies in the oven.
I made a trip to Lowes and worked some more on the firewood rack I'm building. I don't feel like cooking, so it's either gonna be Mexican or Applebees tonight.
I will go to the dining room for tonight's solo dinner instead of having it in my apartment. I have looked at the menu and will have the Slow Roasted Beef Tenderloin with Baked Potato and Asparagus. Pecan Pie for dessert
Hearty salad with Rosemary crackers and air fried Foster Farms chicken. I will be watching the Interview tonite with Harry and Megan .. So very little clean up.
Hubby picked up Mexican takeout on his way home from MIL's. I had a steak fajita salad in a puffy tortilla shell. I missed my beer, but had a 7 oz Coke instead. I won't be watching Harry and Meghan because they both give me the dry heaves, as does "Okrah." Boo hoo, I really feel sorry for spoiled millionaires.
