Amazon is strange....I priced microwaves. for basically the same size micro they can send a $219 one to my po box but a $125 one can't be sent to po box.
I wonder if they are different sellers with different shipping policies. I've not had stuff sent to a PO Box, so don't know how sellers feel about it.
Mine was a couple of ankle braces to,used on my fractured ankle once I get the plaster off it ..but I expect that will be awhile away I got them from Amazon ( Australia ) and I had the items 3 days after ordering them ..great service . If I post a letter from my home town in a country area to the nearest City ( Adelaide ) which is about 170 km away I don’t expect the recipient to get it for at least 7 working days ..however I order something from Sydney ( NSW ) 1.400 km away and I get it in 3 days
I'm curious as to how that works for you. Every few years I'll get a field mouse in here, but I use a regular Victor snap-trap. Nothing else seems to be as effective, and I don't want to poison the food chain (lots of black snakes around here.)
Well the little bbugger was caught tonight. I put peanut butter in the trap and the 4 AA batteries takes care of visitors.
My house had been vacant for a long time before I moved in. Keep in mind I'm in a very rural area. I used to have snakes in my crawlspace, most likely there because of the food source that had taken up residence over the years. When I moved in there were holes along the wall right above the kitchen countertop where a backsplash had been ripped out, and mice were getting in through them. So I put out regular mouse traps along the back of the countertop until I could patch up the walls. I got up one morning, and a trap was leaning against the wall right under one of the holes!!! It was something out of a horror move where you turn your back and the furniture is rearranged by some unseen hand. The darned bugger had actually tried dragging the mouse trap through the hole in the wall back to its home!!! It didn't even spring the trap. Enterprising little bastard...
I just bought a Goredi under desk bicycle exerciser to use while I'm on the computer. It won't work under my desk because my knees hit the desk. I keep it beside my desk. I think I'm going to like it.
My new dishwasher is supposed to be delivered on Monday. I suppose my husband will be getting the old one disconnected and ready for them to haul away in the next day or so. Of course my receipt from Lowe's says "Delivery: Please note that due to high demand of delivery orders at this time, your delivery may be delayed. You will receive a phone call confirming your delivery date." So we all know what that means.
Repair or an upgrade? I never had a dishwasher in my entire life, and did not use this one until I installed a water softener 5-6 years ago. I'll never live without one again. Regarding Lowes: They are way more reliable than other places. Sears contracts out their delivery services (I have nightmare stories.) Lowes uses the guys who work at the store.
