The Chinese leadership has said that American gun ownership was a problem they would have to do something about. Since their pawn is now in the White House, I assume some effort will be made, but it has been said by a number of states now that any guns regulations not already in place will be ignored, regardless of what the Feds or the courts say. After all, I don't think there is another nation that has a Second Amendment (or equivalent) in place. It is there for a reason and should be protected.
The problem is they have the HOUSE, SENATE, AND PRESIDENT so they might push for changing the amendments As a signer of the UN which wants the public to be disarmed. They might bring in the UN [Chinese troops] to disarm the public. It does not look good.
Although most of Congress and the courts pretty much ignore the Constitution, it would take 3/4 of the states to actually change the Constitution and the conservatives control most state legislatures.
They always say everyone has a price and I hope I am wrong. That still does not stop the government to call on the UN which they joined to do the job.

Why scary for you? Nothing that happens in MY nation affects you one way or anther. You ran and hid from modern society in a third world nation. Why do you stir and complain about something that is not your business. Are you a Russian agent sent to stir dissention?
The problem is that they really do not have to change the law or the Constitution. All any government bureau or committee has to do is to set regulations. Now, whether or not those regulations are permitted to stay in place is a factor involving the Constitution which is determined after the fact by Federal Court or even the Supreme Court. Even Presidential Executive orders are not laws, but regulations. Technically, they could regulate us back to the ball and cap days but it wouldn’t fly. As far as a controlling agency coming here via the U.N., the main reason why we’ve never had a land based breach on the U.S. is that every country in the world knows the citizens (and non-citizens) are armed to the teeth.

I haven't read the proposal, but the NRA site says Biden proposes to tax every magazine over a certain size $200 to make them unaffordable and essentially make them only available to the wealthy. I know an ammo tax has been proposed by the Clinton Administration, but that went nowhere, as Gingrich was Speaker at the time. One of the Aussie news channels has a satire on Biden's news conference as "Weekend at Biden's" as a play on Weekend at Bernie's. People around Joe are propping him up and pretending he is alive, so they can enjoy all the benefits.
I spend most of my time falling down the rabbit hole watching and listening to underground news and the fake NWO complicit "news". I am a Canadian and envy your constitution and the 2nd Amendment.
