My lovely SO and I decided to go down market and had a late lunch/early dinner (3:30 ish) at Golden Corral buffet. I liked the pot roast, she liked the fried chicken. We both liked the bread pudding. Sure, not everything is prime but for $21 total for both of us, it is a bargain, albeit not a healthy one.

I loaded my last batch of black locust firewood today and had fast food while I was out running errands, so tonight will likely be just a salad with cheese & crackers...maybe some soup. And a chocolate eclair bar (Walmart keeps running out of fudgesicles.)

    -Salad
    -Marie Calendar's pot pie
    -Fudgesicle

I'll stretch the pot pie into 2 meals by adding some chicken & gravy I got in the freezer and extra mixed veggies. Then I'll only get 1/2 the heart-stopping fat of the crust at one sitting, and I'll save some money. Besides, there's never enough chicken or veggies in these things.
