We went to Out Back Steak house for dinner - SO always gets their lobster tails, and this time I got their small Aussie style prime rib. She raved about the lobster tails, which is her favorite dish, the prime rib was just okay.

yes. It was okay. Next time will make with shrimp, and less or no oil. I use, the reduced sodium but still was salty. Will break down and make from scratch soon.
I'm laughing to myself here. I was gonna make some comment about Zataran's and salt, but figured you would point it out. They don't have a singe product that is not chock-full of it. I recall being at my local grocery store and noticing a woman picking up boxes of Zataran's one at a time, reading the label, putting it back, then picking up the next box, reading the label, putting it back, etc. I said "Too much salt?" She laughed and said "Yup." I told her they were all that way...I already looked. All brands of boxed flavored rices are salty, but I believe that Zataran's is worse than the rest. It's too bad because I like their products, and really think that the volume of salt is unnecessary.
I guess it was okay. Nothing special. Having said that, my sense of smell and taste have never been especially keen (went to an ENT specialist 30 years ago) but as I age I "taste" mostly by memory. A few things still kick in, but not a lot, and not often.
