A jazz loving friend of mine was that a Dave Brubeck concert, said what he remembered about Joe Morello was his glasses were very thick, and he could play paradiddle faster with his hands and then most drummers with sticks. If memory holds correct I believe he won a couple of jazz poll awards for best drummer.
I just found a youtube video with an instrument called a “harp-guitar”, and the music that this man plays on this instrument is just amazing and beautiful. I have never heard of a harp-guitar before, so now I will have to look and see if there are more videos made with this instrument.
They got a little notoriety a few years back, I always like there sound. For me "I Will Survive" is a gem.
