The traditional Italian meal on Sundays is a pasta meal. Today we're making a plan tomato sauce, the pasta will be fusilli, served with locatelli cheese, ricotta, Italian bread, we decided not to do meatballs or sausage, instead breaded chicken cutlets. There will be a basic side salad, with a choice a bottle dressings.

On the way home from an exhausting day, we stopped and picked up Subway sandwiches. They were actually pretty good.

For supper tonight we're having takeout from "The Greek Garden"

I'm having there chicken melt chunks of chicken breast on a pita bread with tomato sauce topped with melted mozzarella cheese. The pita bread is made there and is delicious.
As an appetizer having Tzatziki a homemade yogurt blended with garlic and cucumbers comes with there pita bread for dipping.
Everything was delicious, the chicken was tender with a delicious seasoning.

I had steak & cheese with fries at my local place for lunch, so tonight's gotta be a salad with cheese & crackers.

I love good Greek food. There was a restaurant back north that had the best dolmades (stuffed grape leaves.) A few weeks ago I had a hankering for a decent gyro that would not go away. I had not had once since I moved here in 2010. So I made an 80 mile round trip to the nearest decent Greek restaurant to satisfy it. It was worth the drive. Besides, I'm retired ;) I got a slice of baklava to bring home.

When this COVID lets up I'm going to spend a week back north. I'll do the DC museum thing and hit all my favorite restaurants.
