Well it's evening here now and the snow has stopped, so we are off to the concert on a trollybus as walking is a tad treacherous out.
I guess most of you are still in your morning, so have a great day or whatever is left, see you all soon.

Good morning everyone! Sunny and warm and that's what it will be I think till it's sunny and hot!

Enjoy your weekend! I almost burnt down my house this morning. Put a low carb tortilla on a flat griddle to warm it and the went in the other room and got on my ipad. Had PMs, messages, conversations, posts to read and I forgot about the tortilla....til I smelled something burning. It burnt to a crisp and stinks in here but at least my smoke alarm didn't go off. Although I have 8 or 9 in my house, none are near the kitchen.

I have a smoke alarm right outside my kitchen door in the hallway Chrissy...and also a carbon monoxide alarm in the kitchen in case of any leak from the gas boiler or cooker...

Past 6pm here, just got dark...it's been very cold outside today, had to have the heating on most of the day ...wish I was in fresno in the heat..:D....

I've got a whole load of ironing to do, I've been putting it off, ...gotta get it done before I return to work on Tuesday...but I'm hoping to go out tomorrow somewhere nice...so I may end up hiding it in the ottoman..LOL

No, Ruby and Holly...not near my kitchen at all. Seems that 9 of them are crammed in the bedroom, bathroom and hallway area.

Yes we did very much Holly thanks, it was called "The Strings of the Russian Soul" and featured the works of Tchaikovsky Rimsky Korsakov Borodin and a few others. We had good seats in a box near the front.
In fact we enjoyed it so much we have booked several other ones and a ballet "Sylvia" at the famous Marinsky Theatre, which I have never been to before, mainly because it's so expensive at several hundred pound a seat.
    A few pics below.
Hope your day goes well and plenty of good things happen for you.

Mornin. Well, yesterday I re-learned a valuable lesson. Every morning I have to take a handful of pills. Yesterday when I got up, I wasn't hungry, so I just slammed down the pills, thinking I would eat in another hour or so. Well, I'll spare you the details and just say I never got so sick, so fast. Blacked out and all. Spent most of the rest of the day in a recliner recovering.
Yes, I know better than to take so much medication and not eat. I sure won't do it again, tell you what.
So today, I'm feeling great, so far.
I've been drinking more tea than coffee these days. Got a kitchen drawer full of tea bags. Cinnamon, peppermint, green, oolong, black, orange spice and some others. Doing the green tea today, my favorite.
My daughter came by later yesterday, while I was recovering from poisoning myself. She gave me hell for not calling her earlier when I was so sick. She's a sweetheart.
Almost the end of the month already. Time to pay bills. I only get 3 in the mail, usually. Still waiting on 2. I could have them all deduct the money from my bank account, but I don't want a lot of hands on my money. When I get a bill in the mail, if there's anything on it I didn't authorize, I can take care of it right away. And, there has been a time or 3.
So, nothing much going on here today. It's already 52 degrees out at 7am. After Tuesday winter returns. So sick of this crap.

Proving not only that we get the odd sunny day on the east coast of Scotland, but also that the occasional phone box is still around.
