Sounds like a plan, my family loves Greek food, they eat things I can't pronounce I usually stick to the more Americanized stuff. Tonight I tried something a little different, glad I did it was delicious.
Supper tonight was Balsamic glazed chicken breast Rice-A-Roni fried rice Roasted fresh asparagus Mixed greens tomato salad. with Balsamic dressing
Holmes pecan sausage with white potatoes mixed in with onion, celery, yellow an orange peppers, carrots ..drizzle of olive oil and seasoned with salt, pepper, tarragon and minced garlic. will toast some rye and pumpernickel bread to eat it up with. Tasty
I see that Homes sausage is sold in Texas Walmarts (I guess it's a local product?), but a search of my store says "Not available for pickup within 50 miles," which I guess is the default search radius.
I know I'm gonna have a salad...I always do. I might have leftover pizza. I gotta do a semi-annual freezer purge and figure out what I got in there that I should be cooking. I've not made seafood in a long time.
-Salad -Bacon-wrapped steak (I bought a 2 pak at ALDI on Monday) -Loaded baked potato -Steamed asparagus -Fudgesicle
Today it's Mexican carryout, so I've requested a chicken fajita salad in a puffy tortilla "bowl." My appetite is improving so yay.
I punted the steak last night and did ravioli instead. Now we got surprise rain showers through midnight so I can't grill it tonight. I'll probably do a salad, burger & fries.
Tuna salad on croissant rolls; "copycat" Panera Broccoli Cheese Soup. Oh, and homemade lemonade which was fabulous if I do say so.
