Archeology - Where, What, When Intrigues You?

I have been fascinated with ancient Egypt since ninth grade, when I wrote a report on it. I wish I could go there one day, but I can't take the heat.

 

I am or was a history buff always loved to study history. Very interesing study on Egypt from its ancient people and more so pyrimids.Also enjoy study on Israel. Much of that was from Bible study.

 

I have been to Israel and loved it, but the same problem. In May it was 123 degrees in the Judean Desert.

 

my goodness I didn't realize or really never thought about the climate.I bet it was a facinating trip other than that.

 

I am still into studing the Vikings and their enginuety and great shipbuilding capabilities.
Were they also the first to temper steel ?Yep first ones to do so,sometimes I'm amazed at my memory others I think I have old timers [didn't want to spell that one].
