For those with a drop of Welsh blood (which includes me) - Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus! Happy St David's Day.
Good morning everyone, 80 degrees today and tomorrow, we may also get some rain at the end of the week which would be great. Sorry to hear you have to go to the Pitface with only 3 hrs of sleep @Holly Saunders. I'm a little sleepy myself, Pickles woke me early again but I still got more than 6 hrs of sleep, plus I don't have to go to work. Have a good day!
Mornin'. Yesterday we got to the 60's for highs. Today, highs in the 30's are more likely. And, it's wet out there now, at 6am. Yesterday was a very bad day for me. Won't bore you with the details. Today is looking better, so far. My #1 son came by the other day. He's looking for someone to go mule deer hunting with, in Nebraska. Don't look at me kid. Those days are over. My eyesight is bad, can't walk enough, and I need my TV every day. My son has trouble finding hunting/shooting partners. He stayed single so he could pursue his interests in hunting and outdoor activities, while all his pals are married and have families. He expects others to be able to go when he is. Today is frantic Tuesday for politicians running for president. Been watching Rubio make an even bigger ass of himself, calling Trump a con man. Show me a lawyer or a politician who isn't a con man. My grandsons are getting ready for the dirt track racing. Their dad was a racer so I guess it's in their blood. I used to go to many of the dirt track fairground races back in better days. Way back, when 1948 was the newest car you could race. I remember the old straight 8 Buick's used to own the tracks in those days. So, I'm off to do battle with any liberals I can find online. So, be careful. It's a mine field out there.
Happy Tuesday everyone ! It's about 54 and a bit foggy...but not going anywhere at this hour. My big event today will be a trip to Costco. Aww...sorry you didn't get enough sleep @Holly Saunders. Hope your day goes well anyway.
Good morning, Y'all. It's overcast, but the sun is battling for the sky. I don't think it will win, but I'm enjoying the show. I could hear the cardinals before the sun was up, and I must go feed them in a minute...or two. It's trash day (one of two every week), so I was up and dressed early, to get that put out, wave to the neighbors, and feed all of the kitties. One of the strays climbed up on the balcony yesterday. I'm not sure what prompted that, but hopefully he wasn't in search of birds/squirrels to eat. I gave him a few treats and sent him on his way. Today will be a medium intensity day. I have a little more energy, so will do a few chores, but I'm not going to overdo it. I've learned to do everything in moderation. Have a great day, y'all! Nice pics, @Ina, congratulations to them!
Hey everyone! I've been around all morning, but finally getting around to saying good morning "officially." And... I feel like I'm the least techy person on the planet, but I *think* I just figured out how to make my own pictures work. I hope this is visible but not overly large as happened before when I tried it. If ya'll can see a pic here, this is my sweet baby girl... if you can't see it, just ignore me.
I'm not a cat person at all...but @Mari North I have to admit that's a beautiful picture...very cute cat...
@Mari North, your cat looks so purrfect. She is one good looking cat! I don't see that color combination too often...all that white up front.
Good morning on a chilly morning here it's -9c (16f) but sunny at 8am. We will make another attempt to go to the Frida Kahlo exhibition this morning. Have a good Wednesday.
Chilly on Scotland's east coast, but the sun is battling through and it's warming the place up a little. This morning's walk took us past several black-headed gulls, many of which are looking very dapper in their breeding plumage. By rights, these small gulls should be called brown-headed gulls as their 'hoods' are chocolate coloured rather than black. Most of our black-headed gulls must be migrants because we see a lot more of them in winter than in summer.
Good morning everyone... 10.30 am here, working from home today I've been video conferencing for the last 2 hours and endless emails.. ..very windy and cold today, and it's forecast to rain, so I'm glad I'm home today...albeit working.. Not all bad tho' I'm nearly finished then the rest of the day is my own..I might catch up with some sleep.. it was a very difficult day at work yesterday we had to have the police involved. I can't say anything about it too much online because there;s a serious investigation going on with regard an old lady who was seriously injured outside of our offices..she's critically injured and they're searching for witnesses. We didn't see the incident but the police had to question everyone in the vicinity.
Wow, Holly. Lot's of excitement there. Very quiet here. Early morning chirping birds outside are about as exciting as it gets here right now Good morning friends.
