    I heard that one of the unions is getting upset because the nits were being picked out of season and by migrant nit pickers.

    There was a real story a while ago where the town's unionized maintenance staff went on strike, and the Boy Scouts went out and cleaned up the parks. The union went to court to force them to stop. Apparently in a union town, the law prevents a regular citizen from picking up a gum wrapper.
