We all need to snatch our youth out the the clutched of these evil dictators before they are totally woke and hate their ownselves for being American ,white or straight. Blacks and whites are the targets now and we are being pitted against each other while we are the true founders and builders of this nation.We worked the hardest and gave the most.No immigrants in past 200 years can claim this but us.Sure they helped but they also changed our laws and culture into something other than America.Not saying they aren't Americans at all just saying most keep their culturs whicj clash with American culture. We gave most of the blood sweat and tears to make American what it is today. They all have nations they can return to we don't.South America and Asia and parts of Europe can go home if it gets really bad ,we can't
Reading this thread it's quite obvious that 'socialism' is a scare word, and we are expected to keep it that way.
Having spent many of my retirement years living happily in New Zealand I have nothing but good things to say about them.
I'm just ranting mostly because I don't see us ever escaping this new order or disorder I see thats happened to my nation.I considered myself a nationalist and never apologized for it,but now I don't see me associated with anything,just waiting for train so to speak. I'm old and bored and lonely for my family human contact that we choose to avoid in isolation. We have 3 kids 13 grandkids and 15 great grand kids lots of bothers sisters between hubby and I. Last social gathering for us was in 2018 where we had Tanksgiving with both sides of family.And I still say we are not the same as a people or nation.
Well thats good so lets just hope they can stay free from those who want to control everyone.I don't think we are much of a threat to others anymore now maybe China will soon be in charge.I know they are heavily involved in America and Africa now and in some ways most of Asia . What kind of political system would you consider China to be?
I guess one could say that the Chinese government is authoritarian although the basic nomenclature of China is the People’s Republic of China. BUT the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). is in power which makes their “system” of government a Authoritarian / Communistic one.

Ok I get your point but also say in a free soicety that doesn't happen if the society keeps watch which we didn't do so. I bet more men know more about their favorite jock than their nations laws. We love our atheletes and thats ok long as we don't ignore civic and family duty. Its good to have a hobby and interest in things long as it dosen't interfere with other things of importance. Like I said I have too much time on my hands so just rant on.
I'm opinionated to a fault but do try not to be too contraversal.But I still stir the pot without even trying sometimes and sometimes don't get my mesage across correctly and some take things I say the wrong way.
After my posts on the socialist thread many of my friends might wonder where I stand personally. I'll start out by pointing out that Soviet style communism/socialism failed in both the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. I posted about my experience in East Germany in the 1982. I might also mention that I lived in Austria for a number of years, and have traveled considerably in Europe and the UK. Oh, and not to forget Iceland. I've also mentioned that we have socialism here in the US: highways, schools,' public libraries, ...etc. etc. Perhaps Social Security and Medicare .are not totally socialist, since we have to pay in in order to get out. I believe it would be right for the taxes to support these two should be levied against ALL INCOME. Wouldn't it be fair for both the corporation and the CEO to help out the retirement of the workers without whom the corp couldn't exist? I am not in favor of nationalizing General Motors, Amazon, McD, or the corner bar. I would, however argue that the “Military Industrial Complex, should be, as it was, essentially, during WW2. I often wonder if this Afghan thing isn't just another prelude to war? Probably not but still wonder. Beware the leader who whips up the citizenry into a patriotic fevor,for patrirism is indeed a double edged sword,it both emboldens the blood just as it narrows the mind.And when the drums of war have reached a fevered pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed,the leader will have no need in siezing their citenzenry. R0ather the citinzenry infused with fear and blinded by patriotism will offer up all their rights to the leader and gladly so. How do I know ,for this is what I have done and I am Ceasar.
