Did you sear it and then finish it in the oven, or cook it in the skillet? Either way it gets a very nice crust on it that way, don't it.

Ranch and bacon pasta salad. I some chicken in the air fryer cooked but may use that for something else tomorrow. Probably finish off the homemade ice cream tonight
I had a late fast-food lunch, so it's salad + cheese & crackers again tonight. Plus a slice of homemade cheesecake with fresh kiwi on it.
Homemade spaghetti sauce with our own beef and tomatoes. Hubby has diverticulosis so I had to remove the seeds. Wish I had John Brunner's tomato collendar. But I managed. The absolute best green beans. and one of my marble cream cakes.
Regarding eating seeds: I won't dispense medical advice over the web, but a couple of years ago my gastroenterologist told me I had pouches and handed me a brochure stating that the avoidance of seeds & nuts is no longer recommended. Now, that's at my stage of things, but your doctor might have a brochure or other info he can send you on that, if you're interested. Coffee is good for you/coffee is bad for you/etc etc etc. They can never make up their minds. Regarding green beans: I made some the other day with smoked sea salt I picked up on clearance. As you said...absolute best. I assume you used bacon grease (I did.) Regarding my colander: You need a Way Back Machine, I'm afraid. I need to make a fresh batch of pasta sauce but am gonna wait for the remaining tomatoes to ripen so I can get enough to make one recipe with them. Next year I gotta do more than one plant.
