We are getting the bikes back from the bike shop today who had them on consignment,didn't sell them so for his trouble we let him service them and will pay him for that. Be good to make sure they are good before we sell them.He is a small business who like others not doing too good. He said maybe put them on Facebook marketing,never heard of that.
If you have facebook, there are icons along the bottom, and one kind of house looking icon says Marketplace. You can list anything on there and other people who are looking for that can find it. It works similar to Craigslist, except it goes through facebook, so more secure. It is free to use, and people can message you about the bikes and also make offers.
@Gloria Mitchell We have a phrase for this in Swden ”dödstädning” which I’ve seen translated as ”The Swedish art of death cleaning”. DH was up in the attic a few weeks ago and brought down a load of stuff that I sorted through. Asked the children and our oldest granddaughter if there was anything they wanted. The stuff they didn’t want is going to the thrift shop.

I am working on getting rid of even more stuff! With the possibility of being forced to move all the more reason to start ditching things. I was trying to reach something up high this morning, when I saw something...omg Dust dust everywhere dust! I have not seriously dusted since before I got sick so at least two years ago! Spent 2 and a half hours serious dusting just in living room dining room and kitchen above stove and etc. I have to laugh because all my life I have been teased about my constant cleaning. Weell those days have passed
Itspasttime for some dusting here too. But I'm tired of just work and no play. Whatevers left of me would like to have a little bit of fun. I had a bad go of it for past 2 1/2yr.s but still would like to do something. I execise to music and clean but there will be plenty of time for rest in the grave so whatevers left of me needs to do something. Like the song says,' I ain't As Good As I Once Was '[Beth you proud of me ,no video] .
Well folks, looks like we are going to be forced to move. We are being railroaded out I think, Too long and probably boring to explain here. Irt does not help when the manager is dumb enough to think dogs can read texts and respond. smh

Yes, in a manner of speaking I am down sizing. I’ve downsized from wearing XXX sized coveralls to a size 34 waist and from nearly 300 lbs to 220 lbs. Once I’ve downsized the love handles I should be at a size 33 with the same total measurements as Reg Parks but a lot older getting there. Yeah, age is something I just can’t seem to downsize.
That is terrible, @Gloria Mitchell ! It sounds like no good answer either way. You either have to stay there and put up with the problems from the people upstairs and the dumb manager, or you have to find another apartment and move. Why would the manager think that dogs can read texts ….. that is pretty far out ?
