I figured out which key to use by watching my son’s fingers on the guitar. A few times I asked the drummer what key was playing. Mostly, I figured it out by finding what key sounded right by playing do ra me fa so, etc.

It was flying across our central oklahoma sky at a fast clip. It was shown on the evening news earlier this week. It will enlarge a little bit if you click on my name under my avatar.
I idid something yesterday I haven't done much of the past few years. We went out for lunch at a Taco place. I walked to my son's car pulled up on the driveway close to the house. By the time I got in the car and buckled up I was breathless. And walking onto the patio where we ate our lunch was something of a problem. There was a bit ofan incline going onto the patio, I became short winded and lost my balance. I didn't fall but almost and it took me awhile to regain vmy shortness of breath. Other than that I made it okay. However, after doing so I always say to myself, never again. But I probably will.
This is Saturday, a big football day. Today is the Red River Showdown when Oklahoma plays Texas in Dallas to see who is the best team on this day and for bragging rights for another year. It used to produce many fist fights and damage to each others cars. That slowed down and hopefully abandoned after fisticuffs advanced to shootings and stabbing and then a tough police presence. Hope now we can allow the teams to show our toughness and not how tough the atendees are. Anyway my son who doesn't have regular TV will come over andwatch the game wwith us. He is rather lonely I suspect since his wife and daughter are in Europe and his son is in College in Wisconsin. He has never been a sports fan and certainly not a football fan. But we are all different.
Sounds like a nice afternoon. I think your son will enjoy it, even if he doesn't like sports. Whenever you get some time, please stop by and answer me a couple things. (I'm not just making up questions. I'm interested.) How is your grandson liking school so far? Is it final OU and Texas are joining the SEC? I'm confused. Seems like a lot of fighting over it. Georgia is looking pretty good so far. I suppose we will end up playing Alabama eventually. The Georgia/Georgia Tech game used to be like the Red River Roundup, but everyone got too serious.
My grandson is loving graduate school? He is enjoying math and he is a teaching assistant and is being paid for it. He’s watching this game and he and my son are texting each other back and forth. Yes, it is final. Texas and OU have been approved to join the Southeast Conference. When they began play is unknown. If left to its own devices, play will began in 2025. However, what the big 12 Conference does could change that. It could be sooner. My grandson texted from Wisconsin he can’t watch any more game, said he has-to study. He has an exam next week.
It looks like a big one. There should be some evidence of it landing........ Unless it was the Martians landing and they have hidden it from us.
