I haven't had an exacerbation, I don't know what has happened but I am considerably weaker, get out of breath easier and believe should I have another exacerbation I may be confined to bed or worse.. I'm just thinking how I have deteriorated the past few weeks. Damned if it isn't a little bit scary.
Sorry to hear it, Bill. I'm wondering if you have seasonal allergies that might affect your breathing? Pollen counts in the fall make me miserable and stuffy. Hope you're better soon.
Sending prayers your way that whatever it is will quit bothering you, and you will feel better again, @Bill Boggs !
I did spend some money on myself last night and thinking as I did so I might not need them. I bought two pair of long johns and a zip up sweatshirt, a light weight job so I can wear it in the house, if need be. I've been a little cold natured the past few years. Anyway, I thought I'd splurge on myself where I need it or not.
I spent all day cleaning out files and throwing them away. I've found some few things to donate. Tonight I've been cleaning the top of my desk and my center drawer. My, my I'm such a junker. I had misplaced my wallet but late this evening I foundi it. A relief. Tomorrow, if able, I will do some more cleaning and reorganizing since I've had leaving on my mind. I want to make some of the decisions myself. Were things go, who gets what. Things like that.
I've been doing the same thing; too much "retail therapy" but it's fun to get packages. I notice that my feet stay cold all the time now, so I've bought a bunch of new fuzzy socks and some slippers.
Or maybe you need to........ I better not say but it's not a burp. I hope tomorrow will be better, my friend.
I've cleaned off my desk. It is wiped off and a coat of oil pt on it. I've thrown away old files I've had for years, old tax files, fies of all kinds going back ten tp twelve years. Only a hand full of file now, like my oxygen company, my insurance company, a personal file for the Mrs and I, filed for propert-y taxes, Credit card file. Some I don''t need, some I keep because my memory can no longer be trusted. Most I have are for my convenience. My old desk my woife bought from an office supply store who handled used office furniture in sixty-seven or sixty-eight. It was made by an office desk company in Chicago, when I don't remember. I'm working on a bag or two of donation stuff now. I work sitting in my wheel chair untill I'm out of breath, rest a while then start over on something. I'm feeling better. I still get so very short of breath walking from one room to another or standing upright for any length of time and occasionally get light headed. Guess that's what old age will do to some of us. My yard looks good. My son had trimed some limbs off the trees in my yard and had cut and tied them so the city would haul them off but I had my yard man haul them off. The city always leaves a mess a mess of leaves ad ssmall branches that might fall out, and my yard man does it up right. anyway, my trees look better, my yard is done immaculate and looks as though somebody lives here.
@Bill Boggs , hope you get to feeling even better soon. And good for you taking charge and getting things tidy and in order.
