I think that this is true, @Beth Gallagher . They didn’t care if it was someone who would ruin the country or not, whether that person lied or not; they just had been constantly told by all of the media influence that Trump had to be replaced at any cost. Some of those people are probably so brainwashed that it doesn’t matter that cargo ships aren’t being unloaded, store shelves are not full anymore, and gasoline prices have doubled. However, there are probably enough people who just thought Biden might do better than Trump, and are now waking up to see the truth that things are getting worse really fast. Plus, there is the whole cover-up about the stolen election, and we all know that Biden didn’t actually get nearly enough votes to win, so they had to do it fraudulently. This is the crux of the whole matter. If our elections are not actual elections where real votes are counted, and not just made up; then it makes no difference who is a candidate for office, they will be selected, not elected. This has to be uncovered and dealt with before anything else can happen. I think that this is happening, but very slowly. In a real election, President Trump would not have had any trouble winning the election, but the fake votes put Biden in office.
Part of the problem is that people identify by party rather that look at the candidate. There are people out there who will rightly admit there is an incompetent member of their party in office, but who would also say "I could never be a Democrat/Republican." Suddenly it's no longer about the incompetent politician, it's about changing our core identity. I believe this is by design. Back in the day, I never had a party affiliation. There were good democrats and horrible republicans (lower case is intentional.) In today's environment, I would put a defective Republican in order to not give the Democrats another vote with which to destroy us. That being said, I do not consider myself to be a Republican. I am a republican, meaning I believe in the entire Constitution and in our republic. Neither party gives a $hit about any of us.
This area has been so much a Democrat stronghold, that some people think that “Democrat” is on their birth certificate. The county I live in however saw the light and went for Trump but the county just north is still mired in Democrat muck.
I'm pretty sure that's the only reason Joe hasn't already been whisked away for posterity; they are regretting the choice they made for his backup. What an effing mess.
