I am not confident that fair elections are the norm anymore. I am afraid that election results have the same validity as news reports.

It's not called yet. There are shenanigans in the largest county (Fairfax) in the state (13% of the population.) They held off counting the mail-in ballots there so they could see how many votes were required for McAuliffe to win. The Washington Post said 100% of the county's ballots counted...the county goes to Youngkin. Then they said "Oops. Uh, 98% of the county's ballots counted. We'll get back to you..." I am so damned livid. Anyway, it's not over yet. At least not by the scroll at the bottom of my TV. 51% Youngkin 48% McAuliffe 94% reporting Exact same spread for Lt. Governor.

I already got 2 emails from the GOP asking for money to support his agenda. But I don't believe the race is formally called yet. Yahoo may have pulled the trigger based on that initial WAPO report. McAuliffe has not conceded yet. The printer's still got lots of ink in it...
