That is a crock. We had price control boards in the past. What causes more inflation is lack of increases in wages and profit sharing. Full benefits as well. I remember too well the days when I enjoyed it all and then liberal and so called progressive politics entered the fray and chaos has ensued.

Well, since I am not versed on the subject I will give room to those who know to comment on your answer.
Wage controls, set at the governmental level, simply lead to inflation, and a free market would be far more effective than government price controls.
As I have said before, since its inception, the Federal Reserve has systematically destroyed the value of the dollar bringing its worth to about $0.00023 through inflation/deflation. Minimum wage must regularily be raised to keep people barely able to make it with bare necessities. It is as if there was a plan for westward expansion and settling of our great country and then it was found that the expansion needed to be reined in and this is the plan. To take everything from everyone as the powers that be don't need us for development any more. Maybe they don't even need us to fight the wars with all the technology. We are less able to buy what we need and we can be made to put things in our bodies that we don't want. Hmmmmmm... the plot thinckens.
So let me ask a question, Mary. And this is an honest question, not a challenge to what you just said... Isn't raising the minimum wage like a dog chasing its own tail? When labor costs go up, the price of products must necessarily rise along with that cost component, thus negating any increased purchasing power. In other words, the two offset. Or is that inaccurate?
The thing is, the cost of living goes up regardless, and those earning minimum wage really feel the pinch.
And back to Biden... I see that "Dr" Jill Biden flew to Houston on Air Force 1 with her entourage to hold up posters to elementary students to get vaccinated. Way to keep it green, doc!! Apparently some are exempt from that pesky global warming bruhaha. Our tax dollars well spent.
