Exactly. Coffee snobs are a bit too "emperor's new clothes-ish" IMO. Drink what you like and don't fold in the face of ridicule.
Despite the name, which suggests a strong dark roast, this is a medium roast coffee and, while it is flavorful, it's not overly strong. I think it could become one of my favorites.
Just Black I have had before and, while it's nothing special, it's good coffee. The other is a Christmas thing, a medium roast that I haven't tasted yet.
Coffee with Clint will make your day. "Every day for the past ten years Loretta, there, has been giving me a large black coffee. Today she gives me a large black coffee, only it has sugar in it, a lotta sugar. I just came back to complain." hahaha! "Call De Ambrosia in the DAs office and ask him if coffee is physic."
I don't know what it is with McDonald's or McDonald's employees, but that's the only fast food place we have so I stop there every now and then, and always regret it. Other than the Fries, which aren't as good as they were twenty years ago, but which I can eat with problems, whenever I eat anything from McDonald's, it seems to settle somewhere short of where it's supposed to be, and sit there like a dead weight. But that's not what I came to talk about. I came to talk about the coffee. For whatever reason, the default for McDonald's employees seems to be iced coffee, and even after I have corrected them at the order speaker, roughly a fourth of the time they will try to hand me their disgusting iced coffee. It can be ten below zero, yet the folks at McDonald's think I should be drinking iced coffee. Since when did iced coffee become the default? When I do get hot coffee from them, the other default comes into play, which is cream and sugar. Although I specifically order "hot coffee, black, no cream, no sugar," at least half the time they give me something that has cream and sugar, or at least one of the two, and that is something I won't notice until after I drive away because it's too hot to drink right away. At least the last three times I have ordered coffee from McDonald's, I received something that I couldn't drink. Dunkin' Donuts is a little more consistent with the coffee but they, too, seem to think that the coffee should be iced. Yes, I know that some people must like it that way but I can't drink that crap, and why would anyone order iced coffee early in a December morning?
Remarkable Blind Coffee Roaster Wake up and smell the coffee! Gerry Leary is blind from birth, but refused to let that keep him from becoming a Master Coffee Roaster. Gerry opened the Unseen Bean, a coffee shop in Boulder Colorado, and we found his story really interesting.
I have been drinking the Walmart brand of decaf coffee, and it tastes pretty good (for decaf), and I just ordered a package of Amazon’s Happy Belly decaf to try. I have tried some of the other Happy Belly products (don’t remember which one right now) and it was good, so I am hoping that this one will be good, too. In the morning, I have a cup of the regular Sam’s Club breakfast blend coffee, and after noon, then I just have decaf if i want another cup. I doubt that Bobby will drink it, but we have plenty , should he want some.
Just about every business I have worked at here in La had a coffee service supplier and it was always Community Brand. You have to get used to drinking it and it does not do well the longer it sits in the pot. I still buy Folgers Classic, don't want anything else even if it cost less.
