    It emulates the Commodore-64 computer.

I'm not sure how you can get by without a C-64 emulator. I don't know how I've managed thus far.

Ordered and received the Garmin 67W dashcam. With increasing auto insurance fraud (pros can stage accidents to make it look like your fault), texting while driving and road rage; a dashcam is protection against increasing insurance premiums. However if you are a crappy driver who is prone to run into things, a dashcam might not be your best friend.

The unit is about the size of a matchbox, so it doesn't take up valuable windshield real estate.

We put a dash cam in our motorhome a few years ago. For some reason, idiots like to "brake-check" big vehicles.

I have things that I ordered on December 6, while I was still in Virginia, and Amazon still hasn't even shipped them. Their site tells me they will be here on Thursday but since this is Tuesday night and they still haven't shipped, there's no way they'll be here on Thursday. Tomorrow, they will change the delivery date, probably to a range of dates extending the delivery time to as much as a month. I spend a lot of money on Amazon products, let alone Amazon Prime, yet the service I get from them is consistently bad. Unfortunately, I haven't found a reasonable alternative. I tried shopping on Walmart's site once and after I had placed things into my shopping cart, I found that I would have to pick some of the stuff up in their store. If I wanted to shop in their damned store, I would drive there and do so. Plus, Walmart has very little that I like.

I placed an Amazon order late in the evening of Monday, November 29.

Some of these are from 3rd Party Vendors.
Most of these were initially quoted a delivery date much further out, and the dates improved from there.
I am not a Prime member. These were covered by $25 Min. Order Free Shipping.

    Received Dates
    Friday, Dec 3-Book
Saturday, Dec 4-Whole house sediment filters, metal sand scoop, phone case (2 different shipments)
    Sunday, Dec 5-Eyeglass lanyards
Subsequent Tuesday, Dec 7-Charcoal filters, dry milk, nasal spray, GPS carry case (2 different shipments)
    Subsequent Wednesday, Dec 8-Measuring cup
    Subsequent Saturday, Dec 11-Supplements

This is typical of my experience with Amazon in this region.

It's as though we're dealing with two completely different companies. I just don't understand how your experiences can be their long-term routine acceptable standard. It blows my mind.

I don't hold third-party vendors against Amazon. These are all Prime-eligible Amazon products, and it's at least a week, and often much longer, before Amazon even ships. I started getting crappy service shortly after Dr. Fauci released his virus, and they used that as an excuse then, but have never gotten any better. Rarely is the problem with UPS, as it is nearly always a matter of Amazon waiting a week or two to ship.

Have you contacted them to yell about it? They should refund part of your Prime membership cost or give you an extension for free. That's just unacceptable.

I ordered a saucepan from them yesterday; it was delivered today. :p (Hey there has to be some perks to living in "the metro area.")

Once UPS gets it, my stuff arrives quick enough. The problem is nearly always on Amazon's end.

That's why you need to yell at them. :p

ETA--Probably 95% of my Amazon stuff comes to me from a local warehouse in an Amazon van. Do you know where your "hub" is?

I hate being on telephones and there seems to be no way to email them anymore, as I used to when I had a problem.

We have two in Maine, the southern Maine hub and the eastern Maine hub. I don't remember which cities they are in but neither are near here. Nothing comes here via Amazon vans or trucks. Most of it comes via UPS, although occasionally something will be delivered by USPS or FedEx, but those are usually third-party orders. While UPS is known to lose something from time to time, the delay is usually in the shipping rather than the delivery.

    a-order.jpeg

For example, ordered on December 8, these products have not yet been shipped, although they were all listed as being available when they were ordered. If they do arrive on Tuesday, that would be 21 days from the date that I ordered them, and it's all on Amazon - not the busy Christmas delivery times. Once UPS gets it, the delivery times are usually within a couple of days.

You have a C-64 emulator? Seems to me that’s what the alien tried to blow the earth up with in a Bugs Bunny cartoon.
