I'm starting to get hooked on Film Noir, B-movies, of the 1950's. I've learned how to ignore some of the shortcomings and enjoy the rest.

    Hit and Run (1957)
    Directed by Hugo Haas
Starring: Hugo Haas, Cleo Moore, and Vince Edwards (;) ).

This one surprised me. All the actors were very good, especially Hugo Haas. The plot was Hitchcockian. Don't read a synopsis. All those online, seemed to have copied off of one original, which got a key point wrong. I thought it was very good.

Unfortunately I don't think this movie is available anywhere except one version on YouTube with terrible audio and video. But that didn't stop me from watching it. [IMG]

I just finished watching Naked Lunch. I couldn't make a bit of sense of any of it.

I watched on lastnight called 2:22. It was kind of confusing, but what I did figure out was pretty neat. I sometimes don't get a movie (understand it) so I look online for reviews and people's idea of what it was all about ;)

here's the link, it's a free movie on Youtube: Let me know if you watch it ;) Denise

I watched it some weeks ago but I watch so many movies that the plot now escapes me.

Film noir and Bs from the 30s, 40s and 50s have helped me through many a sleepless night. I especially like movies with the younger stars before they became stars. I'll watch anything with Bogart or Gable.

I started the Jesse Stone TV series. Hadn't watched them again since they first started. I just felt they were so good the first time, I couldn't possibly enjoy them a 2nd time around but I am. Started by release date, so I got the Night Passage and Stone Cold mixed up. It's not a huge deal, but I don't know why they were listed that way on release date. Anyway, really enjoying them, although, not free. Their on Amazon Prime, but only the Stone Cold is free.

I don't like trailers or I'd put one here like I did with 2:22, but Jesse Stone is too good imo, and better to be a surprise if you haven't seen them for awhile, or, at all ;)

I saw that one advertised, thought about watching it. I got to watch Richard Jewell as Kathy Bates is just the best actress imo. It's a true story as well but I have to kind of go by how I'm feeling, some movies can be so good, but I can be left feeling kind of, well, in tears.
