Yes he did say that, or someone at fox reported he said it. Doocey's got class (meaning he's a gentleman), something biden doesn't know the first thing about being.
I have heard him say it. He has also lashed out at any reporter that even mildly disagrees with him. If Trump had ever done anything similar--or any Republican for that matter--it would have been declared from every media outlet and accompanied by modifiers of all description.
I was talking about Doocey saying that he didn't hear it but someone told him biden said it, yes, I heard biden say it as well, it's been on youtube It was also said that Doocey took the apology, and told biden he has to ask the hard questions, something like that and it was said that biden said "oh I understand that" bull-crap biden, and he didn't apologize at all imo. nothing personal pal doesn't mean it wasn't a personal attack because it certainly is. What, you're a dumb sob but nothing personal?? Hah, pinochia joe!!
I suppose I could start a thread on the Supreme Court Justice Breyer’s retirement this summer but there are stronger ramifications all dealing with Biden. If Joe Biden, in his attempt to seem non-racist and anti-sexist (or anti-misogynist) lives up to his campaign promise to place a black female in the Supreme Court, it’s going to set a full standard completely off the charts regarding how our justices are picked. Instead of going by merit, character and past performance, he’s totally eliminated about 98% of those who might stand a chance to become a Supreme Court Justice by deliberately placing skin color and a person’s sex at the forefront. A black woman might well be deserving of the position but to eliminate all others because of skin color and sex is by itself discriminatory and I would think is against the civil rights of someone possibly more qualified. The fact that Breyer is a liberal judge and will more than likely be replaced by a liberal judge isn’t even a something to worry about but again, for Biden to go full on less than equal opportunity on a court that is supposed to stand for equal opportunity is an abomination of everything our justice system is supposed to uphold. If the justices who are presently seated in the Supreme Court do not say something then I fear that our whole system is in for a very rude awakening. Note: Just to make things hit home, Biden has eliminated all men, all Hispanics, all Native Americans, all Asians and anyone else except for……black females.
So can we set up a case of discrimination against him? You're saying he has "eliminated", is that literally because I never see much (I don't get "live" news, just Roku) on those nominated except conservatives like Ted Cruz and Jim Jordan grilling liberal nominees that won't answer ANY straight, reasonable questions when our guys/gals have the proof of the answer right in front of them?? I might be misunderstanding you bobby but has biden actually nominated a black person or has said he is going to? This would be, you are totally right, a discrimination case!!
Ok, well, he hasn't kept his other promises so we'll see I guess, it is absolutely discrimination, if we could make that stick!!
Those would be his picks. The person would still have to be confirmed after I’m sure to be a bunch of debate but still, no matter how we shake the stick it’s still extremely nasty. He’s also been known to allude to packing the court.
Right, I know the whole Q&A thing, oops sorry, what I mean to say is Q&No Answer thing Plus, if it came to it, how in the heck would we proceed to show someone else, of another color, would be the best qualified
And, to be sure, during said confirmation hearing there won’t be even one bit of research involving past sexual exploitations as it is with the men. Nor, will there be anyone who says that the candidate slept her way to the top of the list because it doesn’t take that. Just gotta be black and a woman. She doesn’t even have to be at the top of her profession but somewhat better than other female black lawyers or judges.
Of course, any objections by Republicans will be branded "racist" or "misogynistic". A no-win position from where I'm sitting.
That's total bs, because women (some) have gone beyond having equal rights with men, but we aren't allowed to dig up their pasts and present them? Are you saying Bobby, we can't ask woman nominees about their past regarding anything like sexual exploitations etc? That is totally bigoted, or whatever it's called ;( I know damn well our men get the worst of it in this country. Probably why I like men better than women.
