Yes, I why is it, I do not understand, is it ok not to answer questions, isn't there something like contempt of court like in a trial?? If you don't answer a question by some lawyer you don't just get away with it. In other words, aren't these nominees even under oath?? If they aren't, this process is of no value to "we the people".
All questions in those hearings are not entitled to an answer.....Questions posed in order to find out how you'd rule on an issue are not allowed
Nope, not saying that but look who the Vice President is and nobody paid any attention to her sordid past.
so that means democrats can't ask that question to a nominee that is a conservative/Republican either. So why does our side ask that question, if they do. I don't recall them doing that to be honest ;( but maybe they have. So we can ask if they'll go by our laws and constitution, but they would lie of course and say yes, LOL! What a circus ;(
But, they can refer back to how a candidate ruled in past cases and their personal lives as well as their past personal life can be challenged as they did during the recent Kavenaugh hearings.
ok, thank heavens for that!! That's what I probably heard when it was perfectly reputable question and got nothing but the leftist nominee speaking in gibberish to avoid answering a question the pukes.
That's because the MEN who support her probably have the same "sordid pasts" or worse. (Pot, kettle, etc.) But as usual, it's only the women who wear the Scarlet Letter. (Not that I'm a fan of Idiot Woman, but...)
I would agree with that, and there are many things that women's lib has done that's been wonderful for women, and I am all for.
The same old mantra of racist and misogynist hopefully will pale in short order. Been out there far too long now.
You are so right Lois, it's hard to believe our country is so divided by some people's hate towards others. Especially because of skin color, when our country was always called "the melting pot" because people could come here from anywhere and live here as long as they wanted to be Americans. Those that come that don't want the responsibilities that come with being an American, should go elsewhere. I would like to have a sort of Ellis Island on each Coast and Border. And when people came hear, they were taught the language. Being an American is "how you want to be" it's following laws and our constitution. Some are confused about our freedoms we have. Like it's not the freedom to build a replica of your country and it's ways here, and convert Americans to your ways. Hope I said that right, and people here get my meaning. And no, we are not the perfect country, no one's is. But I think the number of "friends/allies we've had" proves we sure aren't some country led by people like Hitler, for example, or Castro. This administration is totally un-American in my opinion, and I think that's going to change anytime soon!
by the way, aren't there some sort of "meetings" a person can go to that's addicted to money and/or power?
There is some speculation that Harris will be the nominee to get her out of the administration. Probably nonsense, but the White House has refused to rule it out. I don't believe she has ever been a judge, even at the lowest level.
No, I believe all she managed to be was a states attorney / D.A. and had a despicable record, or so it has been written.
I would like to nominate Harris to clean up blivet, which, rests at the bottom of the ocean, underneath Whale-shit. Here's your ride Harris:
I think that the Republicans should immediately approve the nominee. I won't say Biden's nominee because I don't for one minute believe that he is in charge. The nominee will assuredly be a liberal but that won't change the makeup of the court. By approving her, they would take away all the accusations of racism and misogynism. ..... And there will be peace in the land.
