I can afford to lose some toilet paper. Ella is not a young kitty anymore, so it's nice to see her acting like a kitten.
Yvonne! I love your little doggie avatar pic! We could do calendars and posters with your doggie and my silkie.
Thank you, @Mary Stetler ! That is Chipper, my little “Heart Dog” , who crossed Rainbow Bridge a few years back. I called him my Fuzzy Kid, and miss him every day.
Ken, how long does it take for her to "Take care of" a roll? Does she look at you and say, "There now. All done."
If I am nearby, I don't always recognize what it is that she's doing, but she makes a lot of verbal noise while she's battling the toilet paper. Sometimes I hear it and think it's something between her and Bubba, then realize what it was all about when I walk into the bathroom and see the shredded roll on the floor. I don't think it takes her very long, though.
Ella has a new heated cat bed. I'd get Bubba a bed but Ella would take it from him. He's not allowed to have beds.
Here is something that Ella does not have, @Ken Anderson , and maybe she would be less apt to sneak out the fire escape when you are feeding the squirrels, if she had goldfish to keep her entertained. This was actually a video on Facebook, and the cat seems to be really enjoying being able to watch the fish. The money you save on toilet paper should help pay for the fish tank, too……
There are four heated cat beds in the house. She doesn't let him lie in either of them. One of them, I bought specifically for him when he was a kitten, but Ella took control of it.
Ella got the bed back within a few minutes of coming back from the library. She jumped up on the desk and give Bubba a look. He withstood it, putting his head back down, but then he started getting nervous and looking around, finally leaving, after which Ella reclaimed the bed.
