We were told that our niece's husband done a home-test and tested positive for Covid. Neither him, our niece or her daughter got any of the vaccines.
Being vaxxed and testing positive have nothing to do with each other. This is a Pandemic of the Vaccinated...all you infected symptom-free variant factories are arrogantly walking around and giving it to the rest of us. So does your niece feel ill, or did she decided to test herself because the kit was hanging around and she figured "why not?" And just so you know, the tests do not tell which version you got. Omicron is nth generation COVID/generic flu, as the thing runs its natural course and winds down. edit to add: You didn't tell us if this was a Pit or a Peak.
Oh dear. I hope her compromised immune system will handle it OK, Tony. If it's omicron then perhaps she won't have a bad time with it.
She has a scratchy throat and 100.1 fever. The nurse she talked to today told her to take Tylenol For any fever. Other than the throat she feels okay, nurse said they've had good results with other patients that had covid. Tomorrow she'll call the doctor to cancel her appointment I guess, and see what they say. With five people in the house testing positive, there's a good chance me and my son-in-law will catch it.
I got to wondering if hawks would attack a drone so I did a Google search and the answer is yes. There are a few YouTube videos. The drone loses.
There are a number of birds who might take umbrage with your drone. Been there, done that and survived so far - see pic I took below last fall. Needless to say, when flying drones, you develop dogfight strategies for dealing with birds.
Pit: Had a chunk taken out of my nose today to remove a skin cancer. Peak(s): -Had a good doctor -Things went well (he only took two swipes at it) -I live in an age where a common schmuck like me can just walk in, have this done, then go to Walmart -It's now behind me
What sucked is I had to dress nicely for my doctor appointment...I usually don't bother for Wally World. No one there recognized me without my robe, slippers & curlers.
My Pit for the day- I broke the wonderful thin hand painted Owl coffee cup a daughter gave me. In dozens of pieces . My arthritic hands and wrists cause me issues. Plus I feel a bit bloated up today...nothing like feeling bigger when you wanna be thinner The stock market has become a daily Pit ! The only I know of today, some friends of ours from out of state are stopping by later for chat and coffee. I do hope they are not bringing anything Extra with them! Moving on now to find some humor in this day
Yesterday's Peak: I rotated my firewood stock to make room for replenishing it. Pit: I discovered a [destructive] powder post beetle infestation. I lost 1/4 of one rack of wood.
Just for your information there is a site "do my own" that has all kinds of pesticides and is very informative. https://www.domyown.com/
Peak--- We got the results to my wife's MRI, mammogram and CT scan. Great news the chemo is working, Tumors are shrinking, and the CT scan results the nodules in her lungs had no change and are probably benign. She has one more chemo treatment scheduled for Monday, this will be her last chemo treatment. We got two calls one from the nurse to give us the results, the other was from the office to change her scheduled time, it was so nice to hear of how happy they were to give my wife these good results. Pit-- No pits today.
