With about 330 million people in the United States, we ought to be able to come up with a better crop of leaders, and most of those who are in charge have been in leadership positions for decades. We could probably do better if we chose our President, Vice President, and members of Congress by lottery.
Hmm..... The latest findings of a number of panels of experts on the US Presidency comes up with findings that many, in here, would have to quickly dismiss, when it comes to the worst president in the fairly recent history of the USA, in a number of categories. Biden has his shortcomings, no doubt about it, but he, at least, brings some class to the office. That being said, the latest approval figures show that Biden leads only one former president (over the last seventy years, or so) in popularity, at the same number of days, in office. Guess who the loser is.......
I'm sure you can find their credentials if you feel like it. I'm also sure that it's much easier to just write them off as this, or that, if their findings are not to your liking, so no big deal......I just had to post what I did since I like facts, as I find them, over knee jerk spoutings. Carter was one of the worst presidents in my lifetime, no doubt, up to this point, but there's another guy who was worse, much worse......
The opinions of someone who is a credentialed academic are still subjective opinions, not facts. There is no such thing as facts when it comes to judging such things. You may as well turn to an expert on peanut butter to decide which brand of peanut butter you like best.
Well, I am a Conspiracist. I would have liked to hear who was worse than Biden and Carter. I certainly can guess. But knowing which way the dirt is being kicked up has some merit. I know Biden, as a Senator, stood for some bills that were definitely divisive. This country is divided and needs to come together for what is coming. I think politics has always been a bone of contention. The Civil War even pitted brother against brother. As for Ms Harris, she is not 'black'. Her laugh can be improved upon And her intelligence shown by lecturing to Europe how a war would be bad and so would a big country going after a small country seems lackig. She allowed US to be invaded, herself, by unvaccinated illegal aliens...not sure I like her.
There's nothing to be upset about. When you're talking about who is the best or who is the worst president, both the criteria and the results are inherently subjective and, as you would have it, left up to credentialed academics, who are strongly leftist. Suggesting that only credentialed people should be allowed to have an opinion about a political matter is unreasonable and decidedly unAmerican. If that were the case, instead of voting, we should simply assign our vote to the highest credentialed political scientist in our voting district. As mere citizens, we have no business wading into matters that are best decided by Harvard or Yale graduates, I guess. For that matter, there's no reason to read, watch, or pay attention to the news, since mere mortals needn't worry their silly little heads about such things. My positions, when it comes to the experts, have been consistent for many years now, so don't take it personally.
I think Biden is the worst President in my lifetime. He surpassed Carter in his first year in office, with Afghanistan, the border, crime, the pandemic, Ukraine, energy, the Middle East, China/Taiwan, North Korea is back to shooting toward Japan, etc. No president I know about has done so much damage to the country and the world order in so little time. He went from a state of relative order to a state of total disorder in just one year. I guess Lincoln did that as well, but that was precipitated by the Democratic convention, not Lincoln alone...and Lincoln was not in my lifetime.
The simplistic rhetoric that Kamala Harris rattles off without saying anything significant is also a characteristic of her Chief of Staff - Karine Jean-Pierre - a little amusing Haitian-American lesbian. What is so amusing is that Jean-Pierre talks with such wide eyed forceful enthusiasm you would think she is saying something important. Then when she is finished you realize she hasn’t said anything sensible or important. Karine Jean-Pierre
NBC asks Kamala Harris if Biden will sanction Russia's oil and gas industry. Harris responds: "As it relates to what we need to do domestically as well as what we need to do in terms of this issue generally, we have, as the president said, reevaluated what we're doing" pic.twitter.com/7ZRn9cIFiu
So clear, so concise , such a accurate straight forward answer ...... <sarc> The woman is an embarrassment !!
Of course Putin sees all this so he feels it's time to go after Ukraine. How can you do the right thing when you can't even say the right thing? Biden and Harris; cut from the same cloth. They know how to play the election game, but once they're in they're "duh".
