    1. What was there to applaud? The subject was people dying from toxic smoke.
    2. What the hell was she doing with her hands, anyhow? That was just plain weird.
    3. And that smile, or whatever you call it, that went with it?

I rarely watch State of the Union addresses because of the delay caused by applause. Would rather read the transcript later, the important parts. Did tune in to the last 20 minutes or so, and caught the tribute to Justice Breyer. What a sweet, humble man he seems to be. Almost embarrassed by the attention.

Maybe the thing that makes Biden effective for the left is that everyone knows he's senile, and not too bright to begin with, so no one expects him to say anything that makes any sense and, because his mind is gone, those who are actually in control don't even have to tell him about his decisions.

So I had to ask myself.
What has Biden done that Congress hasn’t had to power to countermand?
I know that there are around 43 committees going on in Congress doing whatever they are doing and a bunch of other Congress people hanging around checking their bank statements so how is it that not one single Senator nor Representative has taken the time to hear the public and suggest, “ya know…..if we force a vote to get rid of the fuel mandates, Biden will just have to sit on the bench and watch”.

Thinking of that has me wondering who the real puppets are. Biden, Congress or all of ‘em?

    True.
What started me thinking about the direction of forced votes is that Rand Paul is trying to do just that regarding the remaining mask mandates.
The derned mask mandates aren’t killing this country but Biden’s fuel mandates are.

I just read a survey that found 73% of Americans favor his overseas actions. I guess we are doomed by our own stupidity. I think I will start calling our president "Pyrrhus Biden" with regards to the Ukraine situation. For those not familiar, here is a link:

"Can anyone tell me one good thing that Biden did to help the American people ??"

He proved just how moronic the left, liberal, democrats really are , and just what a good job President Trump had done.

We are undergoing the greatest de facto tax increase in history at the moment, as the administration's policies are causing almost Weimar-level inflation on the horizon. Many countries are now dropping out of the Russia oil embargo, leaving the U.S. and a few others to suffer alone, while at the same time making Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Iran much more wealthy as oil prices rise here. World oil prices may stabilize as it appears the per barrel price has dropped a bit, but not in the U.S. As the world moves away from the U.S. dollar as the reserve currency, our debt and its service (interest) will become untenable, and life in our country will never be remotely the same, as the tech giants and their propaganda controls public opinion. See, Putin is a bad guy and he has caused all the problems in the U.S. The Biden administration says so, thus it must be true.

In other words, it's all going as planned, now that the hiccup of Trump is out of the way.

Yep, they had to accelerate things in case the election is actually valid. They have to crash the nation before November so another state of emergency can be called. They prodded Putin into starting a small war so there would be something upon which to blame the failures since Covid has essentially gone away. The Establishment intends to expand the war as much as it can. Pessimistic and cynical, huh?

    Sadly, it's all too realistic.

I am flabbergasted at how all of our institutions have been expanded and infiltrated in our lifetimes...everything from government to education to the judiciary to healthcare to media. Many of them have been intentionally bloated so as to empower them and stuff them full of enemies of this nation. You and I have no way of gauging the mood of the masses because all of our conduits have been corrupted. We read "polls," but (1) those reports are nothing but propaganda to make the majority believe themselves to be out of step, and (2) I've never put much faith in extrapolating the opinions of 600 respondents into a ±2% Margin of Error for what 170,000,000 registered voters think. We need to disabuse ourselves of the notion that "polls" and "experts" are anything more than the mouthpieces of whoever pays them...if they weren't, they would cease to be.

I've run into a few people who validate "The Useful Idiot" model of the modern American, but not enough to make me think they are anywhere near the number presented in all of the forms of media that we are subjected to. I've been following the news and the videos of school board meetings in Virginia since Governor Youngkin empowered the parents. The destroyers are vastly outnumbered. The problem is that they hold most of the positions of power...for now. After all, normal people have lives to live.

This nation has forever been at risk because those who wish to destroy it are driven by their mission, while those who love it are merely living our lives. We thought that Obama had done irreparable harm, and along came a guy who had never held political office in his life, waved a magic wand [screw you, Barry] and things were rapidly better than they had been in a very long time. The attacks on Trump and his adherents because of this were (and are) as eye-opening as they were (and are) horrific.

I don't know if it's possible for the pendulum to swing so far in one direction that it cannot be moved back the other way. We thought so in 2016. But our enemies are not smart. Destroyers never are. Corrupt people only flourish in corrupt systems, and such systems cannot stand forever. I don't see a clear path out right now, but I hold out hope. We are far from being the minority.
