    You are forgiven you reprobate;).
Good thinking JJ to have the trailing line. Boy that snapper fillet taste delicious. I am somewhat of a fishaholic.

I suggested Jacksonville as our next port of call.. but that was before I heard about the hurricane. Is there perhaps a safer harbor between here and there where we can ride out the storm. BTW what is the latest GPS on the progress of the tropical storm/ come hurricane. We dont want to be in the triangle when it hits. Mitzi can you check that for me.

You are still calling me Captain Richie. I am sure Dr Carroll wont mind you calling her Lillian either. I want us to be like best friends for the next three months as we will have to rely on each other for just about everything. There will be dangers.. dont any of your have any doubts about that.

Mitzi reported back to Richie that the storm was moving towards Florida and was expected to hit landfall approximately between West Palm Beach and Port Orange. That is well south of Jacksonville so I suggest we continue our present course.

If it's that far south, we are well out of it's path. We are nearing Triangle. If there is anything unusual there, we should see signs of it soon.

Weather radar looks good Richie and Lillian. Now's a good time to head off I reckon. Something about Ukraine also? And the same old stuff about the Omega strain..
Wasn't that Seafood restaurant divine? I bought some more snapper fillets early this morning with Mario and Carlos. We got the choicest fresh fish. My shout. Even Lobster and big crabs.
Goan fish curry needs a firm fleshed fish. Never Basa, but Barramundi is perfect. Don't eat very big fish like Tuna or Shark, too much mercury!
Salmon is another healthy fish to eat but don't feed it to your dog. It can kill them. Salty Tuna killed my old cat Tom.

I reckon there's gold and Spanish treasure to be found in the Bermuda triangle. All those Galleons with bullions of gold! Cortez, Drake, ...
Carlos and Mario both speak and read Spanish. That could be handy. I have a few words.

Lillian, Richie has spooked me with those stories of frothing mud volcanoes in the Devil's triangle. What are your thoughts on them and is there a safe way to detect them?? You're the Scientist.
I hate to say,, but suspect sunken ships may be around such ship sinking waters. That is my dangerous thought. What do you think Richie? Lillian?

We have much technology that was not available to past ships and planes. I think we will be forewarned about dangers whereas they had no warnings.

Our friends, the dolphins are still with us. I think that Mario and Carlo may have been feeding them from our store of fish. They also seem to be speaking to them and the dolphins seem to understand what they are saying. Some scientists say that dolphins are as intelligent as humans. The dolphins will be able to detect any underwater disturbance that could be caused by the mud volcanoes. We will have time to leave the area before they erupt.

Let's start circling in the general area with our sonar on and see what lies beneath.

Just as well I put in the multibeam sonar last year. I intend exploring the sea floor just off Florida coast as it will be shallower than the average depth of the BT so will cover a wider area than if, say, we were in the middle. The edges of the triangle are, believe it or not, the least explored. So that may act in our favor. Now does that sound exciting.. or what.

The Bermuda Triangle boasts some of the deepest crevices found in the ocean. It averages a depth of 19,000 feet below sea level in the middle of the Triangle, but drops off into trenches that are 27,000 feet deep.

Wow, that clip was very informative Richie.
    Atlantians, Killer waves, frothy whirlpools,
all those missing air and sea craft, sudden storms, no wreckages, Lightening storms, crazy compasses and Electronics, ....need I go on, I can handle all of that no sweat, but I have a complaint.

Someone has been stealing my Red Snapper fillets. I think that someone is feeding that little pod of Dolphins that keeps following us. Fair enough but not my Red Snapper please. We should eat it before the Dolphins do. Tonight even.

Great about your multisonar scanner Richie but that clip said it gets very deep in the triangle. My little deep sea bot could help a little too. Show us your scanner and I'll show us all my bot's system. For deep depths up to 5000' a control wire must be used. That's its limit I'm afraid.
I'll check the web for better. Oh, web's a bit slow.

Dolly, the leader of the dolphins, says she is sorry they have been eating our fish. She brought us one in place of them.

I told her not to worry. We will catch enough fish to feed us and them. Being an expert fisherlady as well as a scientific lady, I can catch them in between my experiments. Of course, the rest of the crew will help. We might do some net fishing.

Have you named your friendly dolphin yet Lillian.

JJ you are referring to the Sea Bot sub simulator. Which is land based. Heck for a moment I figured you had one on my boat.. just ribbing you.

Big day tomorrow friends.. our first dive. Will scan the sonar tonite and first thing in the morning at one mile from the Florida coast. We may get lucky. If not we will move a mile further out and more until we find something tangible.

Great news. Mitzi and I found this last nite. What does that look like to you two. I see what can only be a fusilage and wing of a airplane. Exciting or what. Lets look thru the archives of suspected airplanes that disappeared in the Triangle.

Lillian, sorry to complain about Dolly the Dolphin and her pod/family. Here's some of my pink snapper to give her and her family. I have tins galore of Salmon and Sardines, which are great on toast.
Dolphins are special mammals of the Seas, almost sacred even. They play with whales another very special species.

Here, let me toss a few of my red snapper fish to her.
Crikey, she ate the first but gave the next to the youngest, maybe her pup.
Old tales say Dolphins are good luck.

Great work on your Sonar Richie and Mitzi. That image does look like a plane's wing if a bit fuzzy. At 2300 feet my wired marine bot could reach it ok. I'll send it down if you wish to search in better detail.
My marine bot Marea has two light duty arms, great cameras and a set of sample boxes.
Here, I'll show you all how to drive Marea. A few tricks but basically very user friendly. Have a go anyone.

Oh, btw, I told Mario to never feed me with his tins of Tuna. Sardines have the essential oils without the mercury. A very underatated fish dish.

Richie, is that an old bathosphere you have in the back hold?

I wonder is this is the squadron of five which went missing from their naval station in Fort Lauderdale in 1945.
It may have escaped detection before as, as I said the edges of the triangle have been the least searched. Some areas have never been searched such is the size of the damn thing. Have we gotten lucky and are we about to solve one of the greatest of all aviation mysteries. We will be famous and wealthy after we sell our story..

I picked it up cheap last year. Was used by BT searchers back in the 1950s. I have no room for it so will make some a tidy profit by selling it to the Florida Marine Museum which has a BT exhibit.
