We are the laughing stock of the whole world. He needs to retire. Thyen look at what would replace him. We are just up the proverbial creek is all I can say.
I don't know if there's anything anyone could have done to prevent the long, slow march to where we are today. I often wonder about it. It would have taken an unrealistically long, broad level of participation at the primary level in every locale and state, and even then the only guarantee is that The Destroyers would always have a participant where required, while the good guys may or may not have someone willing to sacrifice their commercial career. And war was declared on us socially by enemies within and without.
I don't know either but it seems like once a party could buy votes with food ,shelter and non necessities, it was over for a nation of producers other than more babies for bigger welfare benefits. I think we should help those very few who can't help themselves but crooked seditious leaders and food for votes has taken down the most powerful nation on earth. I like the story a citizen told Davey Crocket about giving away money that " Not Yours To Give". I am of the Ayn Rand philosophy.
The Supreme Court enabled the screwing when it ruled (a) Enumerated Powers meant the opposite of what it says, and (b) legislators could delegate authority to agencies. I don't know exactly when we were erroneously told that court rulings had the full force & effect of law. Sorry to meander. Let me get it back on topic... Biden is not the problem. He's a puppet that's seen better days.
Trump was making headway despite the constant harassment. He once said, "They are not after me. They are after you and I am in their way."
Part of it is certainly physiological, but when I think of Pelosi and Biden and their ilk spending their entire adult lives immersed in BS (much of it their own making), and when I think of them looking people right in the eye and denying having said the words they just uttered mere moments ago, and when I think of how sincere and convinced they are of each moment's conflicting fleeting reality, I gotta believe the odds are this is how you end up. At some point you can no longer trust your own eyes, ears or mouth. At some point you sincerely wonder "Who crapped my pants?" and you are as O.J. on the hunt. I won't say "deserves," because who am I to judge? But they sure ain't victims.
That video sure is a good example of someone telling you what you should think. And just in case you are hard of hearing, they write what you should think on the screen also. LOL If you watch the whole video it looks to me like Biden was looking in the crowd for Debra Haaland, the new Secretary of Interior, to introduce to Obama before he left. In the second part he was trying to get Obama's attention to introduce him to another woman, possibly Wilhelmina Wright. That's what hosts do at gatherings. Full Video (starts around 35 minute mark)
After I watched the whole thing, I think it is a sign that the Democrats are getting ready to jettison Biden in an attempt to save some of the midterms. Bringing Obama in to be the center of attention is supposed to remind everyone what a great Democrat president can be. I don't think Harris will save much, but you never know. The party put together about the worst ticket they could to keep the donors from abandoning them as Bernie rose in the polls.
Just as they had to bring Clinton back to sell Obamacare. These guys are great when running for election and after they've left office...it's the stuff in the middle they suck at.
Be interesting about what will happen over Hunter Biden. The whistleblower has fled to Switzerland and is about to release more dirt on H Biden. I just think the Dems are at "wit's end". They have an administration that is falling apart; everything they touch becomes a disaster; they have put into office an incompetent President and a hated VP. All the polls show that they are going to lose control of Congress in November, which will bring on investigations into their shenanigans, as well as impeachment over the corruption and the Afghanistan withdrawal. The always have more tricks up their sleeves and are willing to sacrifice anyone who is no longer useful to their cause. We'll have to see what happens, but it looks to me that they are going to sacrifice Biden, blame him for everything that has gone wrong, and hope the base accepts it.
Yeah, that guy is good, @Tom Galty. They Party also has to figure out how to deal with the Laptop story, but the fact that the Media are finally addressing the so-called "Russian Disinformation" contained therein makes me think the signal has gone out that they are ready to jettison Biden as too much of a burden to carry into the future. The Party kept the story out of the headlines when it really counted, but now they are going perhaps to use it as an excuse to make a change. Wouldn't be ironic if the Party used their "punishment impeachment" on their own leader....
Now the Bidens are embroiled in a Secret Service scandal where Pakistani agents compromised several (at least two) agents who were part of the protective details of the President and Vice President. How much more can go wrong?
