Thanks. I gotta go buy me a gift. I've been eyeing those cameras @John West uses...or maybe a drone. Hmmm....
... or maybe a clone? Nah, wouldn't work. As the hooker said; there's already too many johns around here. How about a Dwight clone? You can never have enough Dwights.
My silkie rooster Orville asked me to wish you a happy birthday but he does not know how to post memes.
This is how one of the many ways I know I'm getting old... I replenished my supply of supplements so I've got at least 365 days of everything on hand. I ordered a bunch of stuff from Amazon and a bunch of stuff from Walmart, almost every item shipping direct from individual sellers. My mailbox is at the end of my right-of-way, so I don't pick up my mail every day (I installed a big ol' country mailbox because of this)...but I do get email notifications when stuff has been delivered. So when I drove out yesterday to run errands, I emptied my mailbox of 2 days' worth of letters and of a bunch of supplement shipments. Late last night I was organizing the stuff and I could not find the zinc that I know had been delivered. I looked all over the place for it. I looked in the kitchen where I had unpacked the stuff. I looked in the closet where I store the stuff. I emptied all of the bags of bottles I've got again and again, making certain I didn't space out and just overlook it. I went out to my truck to see if I left a package in there. I keep my trash in my garage because of bear, and had taken a bag out after unpacking the stuff, so there I was outside at 11:30PM with a flashlight going through the trash and scraping off coffee grounds seeing if I had inadvertently thrown away a couple of small bottles...I was not gonna rest until I figured this out. I looked again on Walmart's website to make certain that zinc was among the items that had been delivered, and it was...it was delivered yesterday. Then it hit me. I emptied my mailbox at about 2PM. My mail does not get delivered until 3PM. Everything I grabbed was from prior days' deliveries. My zinc got delivered, but it came an hour behind me...it's still in my mailbox. *sigh*
