The latest here is large red penises being spray painted on churches and being announced on social media as a "protest". The level of maturity is just amazing.

In an honest world, this would be given its proper coverage, and the perps would be held to account. Ignorance and irresponsibility are generously rewarded these days...at least, on a superficial level.

Not doing them any favors at all. Jail now or prison later [if not now].

The fools just don't know that it doesn't directly affect them, as abortion was legal before Roe v. Wade, so it will still be legal here. I don't know about Medicaid-funded abortions, though. They were only recently added as a consequence of court action. They may come under court review.

All I know is that my heart aches for these souls whose lot in life is diminished at the moment of their conception. Either we allow legal abortions everywhere, as we do now, and end a life before it begins, or we force the mother to deliver the child and thereby (most likely) condemn it to a life without a father and with an uncaring mother. Which is worse?

Yup. The "Just let me get my nose in the tent" excuse was that abortions shall never be taxpayer-funded.

I was just reading an article about the Dems dusting off the Women’s Health Protection Act and trying to make it palatable for this election year. They are removing references to:
    • Reproductive Justice
    • Transgender pregnancies
    • Nonbinary people’s pregnancies
    • White supremacy
    • Gender oppression
    • Anti-Black racism
    • Experimentation on Black women
    • Forced sterilizations
    • Medical experimentation on low-income women’s reproductive systems
    • Forcible removal of Indigenous children

Democratic Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal called this “Very marginal changes that simply meet some of the issues that have been raised by senators who want to make it more consensus driven.

I attempted to do a little research about the number of laws there are regarding abortion in the United States and came up with a conglomeration that would take hours to accumulate all the information and I still probably wouldn’t come up with a correct answer.
Then I tried to refine the query by asking about the Federal laws and still found that though some are Federally specific, they still leave blind spots for the states to take their own initiatives so again, the number is vague because of each state’s ability to intervene.

The question of sentience, rape, age, race, welfare and taxes, religion, parental permission, unwanted child, mother’s psychological profile and 2 doctor approval, double homicide versus single and the list keeps going all based on speculation and whatever scientific information comes down the pike from whatever sources and of course, opinion.

The bottom line is since the states already have loop-holed the laws to death and made their own laws then let them have it and get the Federal Government out of it.

    This won't happen.
    Divisiveness = Power

And if abortion truly is an individual right, then the states do not have the authority to negate it. Of course, we have specifically enumerated rights that are attacked more viciously than this inferred one.

The leak which is an act of treason has nothing to do with abortion. Nothing! It is about creating chaos in the USA which is the only tool the Democrats have to defeat the Republicans. The Supreme court ruling is simply letting states make the decision and laws concerning abortion. The big fuss isn't about abortion, but the fact that federally taxpayer-funded abortions will not be available. You see these duped women out acting stupid, yelling, and demanding rights, don't even know that their rights are not at stake, just the taxpayer's right to refuse funding abortion, that was stolen from them by false testimony and 5 male judges that were pressured by politics to allow abortions and make the taxpayer pay for them if the woman couldn't afford the operation.

Women's rights to do with their own bodies as they wish is NOT at stake by the Supreme Court returning this faulty unconstitutional ruling of 1973 back to the states. What is at stake is what little is left of our freedom. The safety of our communities is at stake, the rule of law is at stake, any hope of reclaiming our stolen republic is at stake, and democracy is not the majority rule anymore, but a minority rule.

Another thread should be started for those that wish to debate, argue, and spar over the no win no consensus quagmire of abortion and a women's right to remove a living being from her uterus. Call it a fetus human or a baby human, doesn't matter. It is a living thing so that discussion involves religion, science, politics, emotions, culture, ethnicity, mental health, and just about every aspect of life on this planet and no good ever comes from discussing such a topic that no two people can fully agree on.

Again the Supreme Courts' ruling is NOT ABOUT ABORTION! It is about following the constitution which is the Supreme Courts' one and only job. Let the states do their job and if that becomes a federal issue, then let the Supreme Court hear their argument without the drama of false testimony and emotion.

    Dunno.
The Fed said pot is illegal and California, Colorado and Washington side swiped the law and made it legal.
The Rule of Law says no to illegals yet there are states and cities which have deemed themselves as sanctuary areas.

Granted, there is no comparison between life and death / mother’s rights and pot or illegals but I’m just using mere examples that a state’s right of sovereignty do put a dent in many laws that the Fed passes down whether it’s Supreme Court driven or not.

Sometimes you have to see their ugly mugs when you are watching a Fox video or other more moderate, or right-wing media. I can't stand having to see the idiots show up in an otherwise stomach'able video

I just heard yesterday something I didn't know, if it's true they said that even if roe v wade is overturned, it will go to each individual State to decide? Kennedy, I think her name is, on the "Five, Fox" said that abortions were mostly other than teens/young women, using it as a morning-after kind of solution. I disagree strongly with her, but I don't know the actual numbers :(

I'm so praying November could be the beginning of the end of "his" administration. I really think that really started on day one of his "reign".
