The rock band "Deep Purple" got its name because of that tune. One of the members told his grandmother that he & his friends were starting a band, and she said "Oh. Are you going to play 'Deep Purple'?" And the rest--as they say--is history.

Good choice John ,that film was nominated for 6 academy awards and won 2. We like classic movies and music too at times. I really like Rogers and Hammerstein sound tracts too. I'm sure I've heard of Morris Stoloff but just didn't place him.
