You're right, they know better than to stop the same old same old rap as they are aware of what long forgeteries many of their audience has. The need to consistently remind people is paramount to get folks to remember what the story is. Kind of like a soap opera, that must retell the story line over & over just to bring people up to date on the action. Let's all get on the same page to move forward.
In the meantime, Dem representatives (Rep. Eric Swalwell of California and Sen. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois) are telling people that if Roe gets overturned, there is a whole list of things that will be made illegal, including but not limited to interracial marriage, gay marriage and contraception.
I was just watching a documentary on the withdrawal of Rome from Britain and the consequences there. Those who had become "addicted" to the Roman life had a very hard time. Will the same happen to us? I am sure the consequences in Rome itself were worse. Rome fell for many of the same reasons that the U.S. has fallen, but our fall is. in part, by design of the "elite" that the "wackos" have been warning us about for many years and we laughed at them.
They have to play on fear to keep their people controlled. They are simply appealing to the ignorant.

That has been in the background for awhile, @John Brunner. It was hinted at by your former governor when he said the child will be put aside and made comfortable while the mother and her doctor decide the fate of the child. You can't really claim it is "your body" when it is out and lying on an exam table. Perhaps the start of preschool or kindergarten would be the limit.
In other words, nothing is ever as these people claim it to be...it's always just the "next step." What used to shock the conscience is now merely laying the groundwork for acceptance...or so it would seem. I'm still submit that my face-to-face interactions with folks conflict with the "reality" the media would have us believe.
That is all why religion and the family structure have to be removed; the slippery slope of Humanism.
