Beth, Excellent, made a rainy gloomy evening into Bright sunshine all I can say is wonderful, wonderful.
You're so kind, Tony. How's the Mrs. doing with her radiation? It didn't bother me much, just the trips to the medical center every single day were a drag.
She's doing very good, the drive here to the hospital is 20 to 35 minutes depending on traffic. My youngest daughter drove her to the hospital today afterwards they met up with my middle daughter for lunch, and shopping so she came home a little tired today. When it's just the radiation she gets usually takes about a half hour, but sometimes she meets with the nurses or doctors it takes longer. It's been good so far no problems.
I've been searching Craigslist for a specific tractor attachment (landscape rake.) Prices for used are high, and availability is scarce...plus, I've not got a ton of choices regarding features. Peak: I finally placed an order with a manufacturer in North Carolina (Everything Attachments.) Pit: Their lead time is 4 months out! So I'll get my rake sometime between Labor Day and Columbus Day.
Pit-- got a painful sore throat with a stuffy head, and difficulty breathing. It started last night and continuing today. I've been drinking hot stuff all morning, helps a little. I'm disappointed I was planning on getting outside and doing some gardening, that's not an option now, all I feel like doing is sleeping. My daughter seems to have the same cold. Peak-- my wife doesn't have my cold, she actually feels pretty good.
That stinks. Do you get allergies? A few years ago I found that just the volume of particulates game me issues, even though I never had any true allergic reactions.
I do have some allergies, pollen makes my eyes tear, ragweed but that usually comes later in the year. This feels more like a cold.
Pit-- sore throat had me up half the night hasn't improved I'm starting to feel irritation in my trachea this morning with a light cought. So I went to the doctor, he check for covid and strep both were negative. He Prescribed an antibiotic 2X aday, which I'll start taking tonight. Very tired I'm going to go take a nap. Peak-- Got antibiotics.
My Pit not worth mentioning because my Peak cancelled it out. Was at the small Walmart store down the street from me. Was checked out by one of the very few employees that seemed to really enjoy where he was at. I must say handsome guy, with loads of smiles, and looked you in the eye when he spoke to you. Had a way with words and a good personality. Almost flirty like. He just lifted my spirits and I smiled all the way home. Came home and left a review on Yelp for him.
