I always say, there are those employees that have a great personality at work, because they are paid to be that way at work, but when not at work, look out! Then again, there are those that have a great personality at both work and at home.
Peak: Drove to the Kubota dealer and picked up the top link they ordered for me and discussed quick hitches. Since I was in that county, I visited one of my favorite over-flowing second hand shops (I bought a 20' extension ladder there a few years ago for $16.) Then I had Chinese buffet for lunch. Pit: There was no fortune in my cookie. I told the ladies at the table next to me I was afraid to move. That was almost 12 hours ago. I still feel OK, but...
Pit: Last night my cellphone began "dinging" with notifications. Apparently my Mastercard was compromised and someone was busy charging stuff via "Facebook Pay" or some crap. I'm not on Facebook so I have no idea what that is. Anyway, I called Mastercard and they canceled the card and will issue a new one. I'll still have to dispute those charges (14 of them for several hundred dollars). Annoying that they couldn't just delete them but whatever. I tried to call the dispute department today but naturally they are closed for the holiday. It's always something. No peak to speak of.
So far... Pit: Seeing 10 squirrels crossing the street just up from my house, one behind another, like ducks in a row Peak: They were headed SE, towards the next block
Pit-- going to have sweltering temperatures here on Long Island today it's already in the mid-80s we might break an all-time record. Tomorrow temperature it's supposed to plunge back into the 60s. I'm in my car in the hospital parking lot waiting for my wife to complete radiation treatment, even with the AC the Sun coming through the window is hot. Peak-- my wife should be done soon, I'll be heading home to a nice cool drink.
Peak: I got another email from Verizon reminding me that I am eligible to upgrade the phone that I'm still paying off. Pit: I have no other business in my life that is this diligent in reminding me I am eligible to come spend more money with them, any time I want. The rest just keep me guessing.
