My brand new cultivator…..is going to be late. It shipped about 12 hours after I ordered it. It made it’s way all the way from Indiana and was in Charlotte, N.C. in a day and yesterday it was delivered in Atlanta, Ga. “Oh goody, it might be here a day early”, WRONG! I got a notification that what was supposed to arrive here on Thursday will take until Tuesday next week to get here. Huh? (said I) BBBBuuttt, Atlanta is only 180 miles away! A 3 hour and 10 minute drive! (fade in the music from Gillian’s Island) Derned truck must have run out of gas or they shipped it with the “this end up” with that end down or dropped it from one level above the “do not stack higher than here” notice. It’s all Russia’s fault.
Hey girl, where did you get that rain gauge? Since I have made peace with the crows, I must honor them with that statue. Hopefully, the counter-culture birds won't see it and tear it down. Seriously I must have one.

Okay, now I’m happy again. My new cultivator hitched a ride so now it’s out for delivery with UPS. Gonna be a big box so I guess I’ll dig out a tip for the driver.
With the old butt having not as much natural padding as it used to have, I ordered an Airhawk seat pad to see if I can't get some of the miles back that I used to ride. A decade or more ago, I could ride 600 miles in a day before the butt gave out. Now it's about 250 miles. I hoe to gain another 100 but I don't know if it is possible, being older than dirt. We will soon see. The cushion is filled with air cells that you inflate to point where, when you sit on the pad, your butt just barely comes in contact with the seat. The pad, coupled with liberal use of Anti-Monkey Butt Powder should buy me at least a few more miles.
It is against UPS regulations for drivers to accept tips according to a friend that retired from UPS.
From Amazon or the supermarket? My supermarket "follows" the Amazon approach....if they made a mistake they fix it w/o questions...and so far I had only one problem with each one.
Another pair of barely used Wrangler 1989 USA-made bareback high waist jeans that I bought off Poshmark. No big W on the back pockets, because there are no back pockets. This old vintage style is still my favorite for comfort. Great fitting waist with lots of hip and thigh room. Despite being a heavier 100% cotton denim, they are great for summer because of the more relaxed fit.
An electric irrigation pump, as gas is getting too expensive to use and the wife has trouble starting the big pump anyway. The big pump will be used primarily in the case of wildfire.
