I took the little ones on a cave tour yesterday. The 6 year old was impressed, the 2 year old not particularly. I was impressed and tired.

Tony, tell Mrs. Tony that the fatigue is very common with radiation treatments. It will definitely take about a month for her skin to recover and for the fatigue to go away. She should listen to her body and just absolutely rest/sleep as much as she needs to. I'm so glad she's done with treatment!

Peak--we had a rain shower this morning! Only about 1/4" but I'll take it. This has been the driest spring I can remember and everything is looking sad.

Pit--thankfully no pit yet, but there's still time. :D

Pit since yesterday. My BIL, who was also my boss at one time has died. Hubby youngest brother, as he turned 65 last month. Short version - he had been bad off since Nov. with swollen legs - they would crack and bleed - all kinds of nasty stuff. He kept saying doctors were trying to find right balance with his BP meds. All kinds of issues. We did not find out until very recently how sick he really was. He sounded terrible. He and hubby were never close, least they talked on Fathers day. Then he died yesterday. Going to be along and tedious time for months. To top it all off, hobby's favorite cousin, was entering a hospital for a chemical stress test, dropped at the entrance, took 10 or more minutes to revive him. He is in a coma still.
It just seems to come in waves doesn't ?

Pit: Looks like my husband's Jeep is leaking coolant. He's dropping it off at the local garage tomorrow morning. It's always something.

Also, our internet/cable/land line phone are all out today. Appears to be cable damage just outside the subdivision since a bunch of Comcast trucks are gathered there. I've been without internet since I got up this morning; using my phone as a hot spot.

Just got home from the 7 day, 1600 mile trip with two active little girls. The only thing I can say is it's darn good that 75 year old women can't have babies. Meemaw's going to take a nice 2-week now.

thank you Tony and Beth . Lawdy just gets worse. He had no will, the only life insurance policy the beneficiary was his dad who died 5 years ago. No health insurance for her since his death. He owned his own company - blah blah . lolo just a freaken mess ! Private family viewing tomorrow and funeral is very late evening Monday. I will be so glad when it is over. All this mess is the vey reason, i want to be cremated and skip all this other expensive non sense. So hard to believe He was a professional business man, who handled his business better than his personal life. Well. east we hope he did. I stopped any grief thought and just got pissed at the idea he left her and two grown kids in a mess.
Least his first cousin is out of his coma and appears to understand when talked to.
Otherwise all is fairly well ;)

Five days of storms, sprinkles and everything in between, after a long dry spell. You could almost see the grass growing. My plan yesterday was to mow it all in town.

High only 94, but humidity stifling. Worse than the 100+ days. Front lawn at 11 am. Back lawn in the afternoon in thirds. Finished it at 8:00 pm. Kept telling myself, Every extra lap you do today is one less tomorrow.

The pit was doing it. The peak was getting it done.

Today (so far) the pit is popping the blisters from the fire ant bites I got while mowing. Regardless of what people tell you, they stop itching when you pop the blisters.

As long as I ignore the news, stock market, some family members, and a few so called friends- do not pay attention to the scales, hey my life is a piece cake:D:D:p:p
