I think I left my car running too long yesterday because it was in the 80s today.

It didn't help here. Still in the low 50s and raining. Three days down and 37 to go. I may start building and ark if I could afford the lumber.

You probably need to get a cow, and feed it beans.

We have rain, but according to the maps on TV, this rain is snow in the higher elevations around us. We can't see the mountains for the clouds, so I don't know for sure.

yesterday, I was back to pulling thistles because it was only 79 degrees F. It had been threatening to rain off and on. Dark, sunny, dark, some clouds. So I started on the mound which is kind of hard for me to traverse but, hey. I wasn't pulling up the roots, now, just the about-to-seed sections. I will wait for a good rain to get the plants, if I need to. About 20 minutes into it, it started to rain. I thought I would keep going because it wasn't bad and the radar didn't indicate much in our area. I kept going and so did the rain. When I got back to the car, I was pretty wet and I had, of course, left my window open so it would not get too hot.o_O
Today was supposed to be very hot but the humidity was low and the shade was still there, so I got finished. Apparently a deer or two had bedded down on the off side. And I found a few more weeds I don't want on the property, Deadly nightshade...

Lambs quarters is easy and grows everywhere. Look at a few youtube videos to get indentification clarified. I like it better in late May and June. Now it will start tasting like dirt.
Deadly nightshade probably has videos too. It smells bad when you pull it, is a vine, has small purple flowers with pointy yellow centers and red berrys.
My friend has a horse farm and the vet warned her to get rid of it if my friend found it anywhere. But horses won't eat it unless they are starving and there is NOTHING left.
PS potatoes and peppers are nightshades too.;)

    Don't eat those.;)
    Do you?
I do have one red berry that grows close to the ground in a cluster, that I don't know what it is. Have not seen it this year.
