Has anyone watched Future Of , on Netflix? A bit jaw dropping and scary about how the future is planned to change.
I watched two good movies this evening. I had seen The Sixth Sense years ago but I must not have watched too closely because it was like seeing it for the first time. Bruce Willis plays a ghost who doesn't know he's dead. In his former life he was a talented and caring child psychologist and tries to help a living boy with a very troubled life. The boy is gifted in other ways also but he can see the ghosts around him. The happy part of the ending is because, after great effort and commitment, Willis does help the boy overcome his major hurdles and find a measure of happiness. The Bruce Willis character gets satisfaction from this because he had failed a boy with similar problems and it had caused him to doubt his worth as a healer. The sad part is that towards the end, after ignoring all the clues that would tell him he is really dead, he remembers things the boy has told him and finally realizes that he has died. He grieves his own death. He has to say goodbye to his wife whom he cherishes and stop living in the here and now as if he was still alive. He is ready to move on, where we are not told. I cried a little at the ending. The second good movie was Sicario. It's about the federal government's effort to fight the huge Mexican drug cartels. A tough female FBI agent is invited to join an elite unit but she balks at the laws the unit is breaking in their war with the cartels. Enough said about the plot. It's well written with a lot of action but has little of the graphical gory scenes that I can't watch. Both movies are free on tubitv.com.
I just finished watching Disturbing The Peace (2020) starring Guy Pearce. It's about a biker gang led by a ruthless and smart killer which takes over a small Texas town to rob the bank and an armored car. Guy Pearce is the Texas Ranger who must stop them. Lots of action but not gory with a satisfying ending. I recommend it. It's free on tubitv.
Watched Close Encounters of the fifth kind: Contact has been made Dr. Greer presents a documentary about UFOs and aliens that claims they have made contact. They use a group meditation session Outdoors which results in UFOs visiting the skies above them. They claim to have mental thoughts exchanges, and that the aliens are a friendly species. The movie is about 2 hours long with a lot of dialogue had some interesting facts, is a subject I enjoy learning about so I liked it. I would recommend this documentary for UFO buffs.
Tony I'm sure hubby would like to see this one. He and his brother saw a space craft in the early 60s in rural S.C.. We are waiting for this one to come out.My friend said it is a great movie.
Check out Phenomenon (2020): The most compelling points involve those from military personnel and commercial aviators.
We rented an hour ago on YT. will watch the rest tomorrow. Also want to see "Close Encounters of a Third Kind' later this week.
