Sandwiches (tuna salad or meatloaf) and chips. I'm making tollhouse cookies this afternoon so that will be dessert.
Had my fake great-grandniece over for dinner and we had Gerber's chicken and gravy, but I passed on the fruit veggie blend. Don't let the appealing army green color fool you, it tastes worse than it looks! Shameful that adult dieticians/chefs are passing this goat food off on human babies. No wonder kids rebel and eat at Mcdonald's when they get teeth and can walk.
I used to teach nutrition to low income families. It was recommended that you take whatever was for dinner, throw it in a blender, and put it in ice cube trays. Pop out how many servings as you want. It can work for grannies too. Plain ole applesauce for fruit veggie blend. No jarred deserts!
