I just found my ball and glove and it still looks good ,its almost 50 years old now, 20 years since I last played. A Wilson glove. It felt good to hold it in my hand again. I may get hubby to catch a few and pitch me a few later. Hubby still has his glove too only his is not as old, he played in our last league in 2000.
Not at my age (73) with a rotator cuff surgery in each shoulder and a hip replacement. I know there are those that have had surgeries and continue playing some kind of sport, but definitely not one of them! As for my opinion, I value my surgeries more than that.
Cody I didn't say I was to join the major league, just reminiscing about good times is all. It must be a full moon that has everybody's feathers ruffled. Well, 'Elvis is dead and I don't feel so good myself' quoting the title to my favorite humorist Lewis Grizzard, may he RIP.
Sorry, but you didn't put it as a "past-tense" question, that I could see. I took it more as "now/today" type question. As far as "full moon that has everybody's feathers ruffled", how about your thread about being ruffled over your vehicles and your husband wanting to talk to you about that? Just saying. But, yes, with all of the crap going on today, feathers can be ruffled pretty easily. Not to change your thread, but both of us can get pretty ruffled when some folks tell us "maybe you should simply cope with where you live". To us, those are fighting words. LOL
See I told you your feathers were ruffled. Yes I admit, I got a thinking problem, see you put me into another song. Thanks. Now I'll go feel sorry for all of us and play some music. Anyway " this ain't my first Rodio, Ya know.
I was just thinking that my ex-husband and I played beach volleyball back in the '80s. That was a lot of fun; we'd drive down to Galveston and play in beach leagues every summer. We have a net, volleyball, and badminton stuff for our pool. When the kids or grandkids come over they usually get up a game but I seldom play anymore. I usually sit on the side and retrieve the ball when they hit it out of the pool.
Valltball is fun, I bet you had a great time at it. Maybe you should join the grandkids now and then, we ain't what we use to be but maybe good once as we ever was,
At this point any beach will do, some beach somewhere, I know I'm pocessed about songs. Beach will be one of my first trips.Hubby says and let him catch fish.
I'm stuck here with no way to go and going outside in bugville is not an option. But thats ok I'm taking a trip without leaving the farm with my music.
