Pick up some already Fried chicken at Publix for supper, while we were grocery shopping, and y'all are right about the hike in prices. Anyway, with new chics and other animals, we don't have time to cook today.
I have some Bisquick to use up . Guess I'll whip up a fabulous "Impossible Cheeseburger Pie" and make a salad.
Surprise surprise a real meal for a change. Stovetop dressing meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans.
Baked salmon, marinated salad and some other stuff. The kids and their families are supposed to be coming over.
I've never heard of Argentinian red shrimp. For years, I've been buying all of my seafood from a local guy who gets it fresh from the mid Atlantic, so I rarely browse the seafood section of the grocery stores. I just learned something.
I had one Burrito and Chili and Beans, and it was good but now I'm still hungry. I foresee a sandwich before I fall asleep.
A very long time ago you could buy decent breaded shrimp, today they are tiny little wannabe shrimp and with 4 times the weight made of meal. I finally just stopped even looking for decent breaded shrimp. In the 70s one of the old fried chicken chains "Churches" had a side order of fried clams and they were so good, you can't just go somewhere today and find fried clams in the south.
That is good shrimp. I buy only wild-caught seafood. Nearly all farm seafood is from China and raised in their sewer water.
