Not us.. You have to check though Faye..it may say wild caught, but wild where? we are picky about seafood and where.
Exactly! For things like kipper snacks, I chose north Atlantic cold water caught. For shrimp, the certified wild-caught Pacific Northwest is my choice. For halibut, the Alaska wild caught is my choice. We have great salmon locally that I could catch out of the river, but I was never a salmon fan. Zek used to keep my freezer well stocked with local salmon and I gave most of it away. I used to get Orange Roughy from Australia or New Zealand which was good, but it is nowhere to be found these days.
I was reading that Argentina does a good job of preventing the wild red shrimp population from being over-harvested. Apparently it's highly "sustainable" because it has a short reproduction cycle (12 months.)
Marie made potato salad and I made cole slaw having them two, for tomorrow we have a baking hen in the fridge to cook in the crock pot, then we can have all three together.
Ok Beth, here we go. It's probably a bit confusing, so don't be afraid to ask me for clarification. Eh, it's an .rtf file, pretty standard, but this forum won't take it. I converted it to .txt but it messed up the format/layout. It will accept zip files, so I zipped the original .rtf. If it doesn't work, let me know.
