@Beth Gallagher - yikes ,I feel for you. i get horrible cramps in my legs mostly. I am thinking of getting on magnesium, see if that helps. Your doctor might be able to help?
I take magnesium every night. I take it for my heart rhythm; but the other benefits that i have found is that I never have leg cramps anymore, and I sleep better. I take 500mg about a half hour before bedtime, along with my melatonin, and other nighttime supplements.
Your original post was interesting. So 'liked' The two very best days of boat ownership are the day you buy one and the day you sell it.
The electrolytes you need for cramps are magnesium, potassium and calcium. NOT magnesium oxide or calcium carbonate. They are the least bio available. You might get potassium supplements because we actually need 4000 milligrams a day. Even the supplements only have 99 per capsule to protect people with 4th stage kidney disease and the manufacturer's butts. The more salt you eat, the more potassium you need to balance. Sugar, simple carbs and alcohol deplete all electrolytes severely. Water is good but too much flushes minerals from your system. We didn't go anywhere with our motor home but used it as a tiny house to get away to. Kind of miss it.
This is not really my Pit- but might as well be. I am so friggen mad I want to stab something! The military daughter has been scammed big time, and left her a wreck. Renting a huge house with opition to buy. the movers just left yesterday , and all transcations were made. Then someone shows up today because they are wanting to buy the house. I do not know all the details becuase i am not suppsose to even know about all this yet. She is dead broke. The only Peak is starting a new job that pays more and good benifits. We are just sick for her. Why are people so cruel ? She was so excited. She had finally got her full disability and retired from service. You cannot do anyhting anymore what someone, somewhere wants what you have. Just make us sick, she worked so hard for all she does have.
She bought the house and signed all the papers and someone wants to out bid her? Or is it one of the house buyers going around buying up houses like for Blackrock?
no she was going to rent with opition to buy. Supposedly the realtor did not know what was going on. So far have found five other women who were alos caught up in this scam .
So does she have a rental contract? Seems like she needs to have her locks changed and not answer the door. Five other women rented the same house, or what is the scam?
@Beth Gallagher - she could not stay in house.Movers were back today to pick up her things and take to storage .Yes there was a contract,But not sure how the guy did all this, but is becoming common. She even was in the house and took videos on the inside. She is a very tight lipped gal, and does not give the info you feel you need. Plus she feels so embrassed by being scammed she wont say much. i do know she is devoting her eery mintue to tracking down this guy. sa.gov/housing-scams#:~:text=Rental%20scams%20happen%20when%20either%20a%20property%20owner,ads%20can%20hurt%20both%20tenants%20and%20property%20owners.
Nothing pit-ty today, thankfully. I do have a couple of peaks... First, I've lost. 6.2 pounds in the past 3 weeks by finally putting the bread-making supplies away and eating more fruit. (Damn, I miss that bread, tho... maybe that's the pit.) So hopefully when I see my oncologist in November he won't give me the side-eye. And I have a love-affair with Chick-fil-a lemonade. They serve the real thing made fresh daily and it is SOOOOOO good. Today I discovered that they sell it in gallon jugs so my husband picked up a jug for me. I've had two big glasses of it already. Ahhhhhh, good stuff.
Peak: Did anyone watch the Alabama vs Tennessee game last night? I only got to see the 4th quarter, but what a quarter. Tennessee won on a 40-yard field goal with 2 seconds remaining in the game. Wish I had watched the whole game. Final score: Tennessee: 52; Alabama: 49 Pit: It reminded me that Bill Boggs and Pam Sellers are no longer here to watch with us.
